  • Patent number: 10902052
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying search results in response to a search query are presented. More particularly, images are selected as search results, at least in part, according to an attractiveness value associated with the images. Upon receiving a search query, a set of content is identified according to the query intent of the search query and includes at least one image. The identified set of content is ordered according an overall score determined according to relevance and, in the case of the at least one image, according to an attractiveness value. • Patent number: 8014505
Abstract: A point-of-sale electronic distribution system for distributing an access code (e.g., a personal identification number (PIN)) is provided. The system allows retailers/distributors to purchase access codes for use with pre-paid products using conventional telephones and without requiring the use of a dedicated terminal or personal computer at the point-of-sale. A telephone call relating to a request for an access code is received at a central server. An access code is obtained from a database of access codes and transmitted to the caller by telephone, facsimile, or e-mail. Reports relating to a pre-paid calling card account can be requested during the telephone call.

  • Publication number: 20040103085
Abstract: The present invention provides for a system and process for automated management and deployment of web content. Digital files for web content update are included in archived documents and stored in designated storage locations that are scanned automatically. The archived documents are evaluated and, if they meet predetermined criteria, copied to designated web-hosting servers. The web-hosting servers are scanned automatically for available archived documents, and are updated with the digital files extracted from the available archived documents. The present invention provides automated web content update at a system-wide scale without any web developer's direct access to the server(s) being updated. Therefore static web content is updated frequently while service interruption of the web environment is minimized.
