  • Publication number: 20160142538
Abstract: The method makes it possible to extend functional possibilities, and to increase sound quality and the intelligibility of speech in mobile telephone apparatuses and communication systems for hearing-impaired subscribers. The personalized audio signals for hearing-impaired users are generated on the basis of attributes thereof received from audiograms—frequency characteristics of the hearing of the hearing-impaired user stored in a database on the server of the communications network and linked to the telephone numbers of hearing-impaired users. The signals are processed on the server in a broadband frequency range on the basis of attributes of the hearing of the hearing-impaired user, the power of the processed audio signals is adjusted according to the attributes of the hearing-impaired user, and the adjusted personalized audio signals are transmitted from the communication server to the telephone apparatuses of the hearing-impaired users.

  • Publication number: 20150293902
Abstract: The method includes combining words into syntagmas, putting stresses at the ends of the syntagmas and, subsequently, transcribing the syntagmas for the purpose of obtaining syntagma transcriptions in terms of phonemes and allophones. In addition, a database of reference allophones is formed. Coincidences between the syntagma transcription allophones are compared to reference allophones, and syntagma transcription allophones that do not coincide with reference allophones are excluded. Balanced text syntagmas, i.e., those having a greatest number of coincidences between the syntagma transcription allophones and reference allophones, are formed from syntagma transcription allophones coinciding with reference allophones. The device includes a text input unit, an analysis unit, a database unit, and a result submission unit. A parameter input unit and a balanced syntagma forming unit are added.

  • Publication number: 20150112687
Abstract: The inventive method and apparatus improve the quality of the teaching phase, improve a degree of match of the user's voice in a converted speech signal, and ensure the possibility of carrying out the teaching phase only once for different audio materials. A program-controlled electronic information processing device (PCEIPD) generates an acoustic base of initial audio materials (ABIA) and an acoustic teaching base (ATB). Upon selecting at least one audio material from the ABIA list, this material is transmitted to the PCEIPD RAM for storage. Files are selected from the ?TB of the speaker's teaching phrases, and are converted into audio phrases transmitted to a sound playback device. The user repeats audio phrases into a microphone, and the text of a repeated phrase and a cursor moves along the phrase text in accordance with how the user should repeat the phrase.

  • Patent number: 7813723
Abstract: A method for connecting a telephone call includes receiving, at a server, from a communication terminal, a first message including at least one word corresponding to a name of an individual or an organization, wherein the first message is transmitted using an Internet-compatible protocol; searching for the at least one word in a server database; at the server, comparing the at least one word with domain names stored in the database and, if domain names are found such that at least a part of the domain name matches the word, transmitting to the communication terminal a list of domain names, each domain name including an identifier of an Internet resource; receiving, at the server, a second message containing the domain name selected by the user from the list; identifying a phone number associated with the selected domain name; at the server, transmitting the phone number to the communication terminal; and connecting the communication terminal to the phone number via the communications network.

  • Patent number: 7653381
Abstract: A method includes transmitting an object ID containing message from a mobile communication terminal via the network of the Global System for Mobile Communications through a mobile network operator equipment and by means of the Internet network to a server. At least one word is used as an object ID containing message transmitted from a mobile communication terminal. When searching for an object ID in the database the server compares the word with domain names. If the user of a mobile communication terminal finds a matching domain name, the server transmits a subscriber's phone number to him. Then, the mobile communication terminal initiates connection to that phone number by making a voice call to the subscriber's phone number. The method enables to expand functional capabilities, speed up search, decrease volumes of information transmitted, reduce load on telecommunications networks and their equipment.
