  • Publication number: 20240132390
Abstract: A process for treating waste waters with TDS?20 g/l, possibly containing organic substances, includes the following steps: a. separating the saline wastewater or waste waters from suspended solids and heavy pollutants by physical separation, forming a saline stream free of suspended solids and heavy pollutants; b. subjecting the saline stream to reverse electro-dialysis, using a reservoir solution to reduce the saline concentration and forming a diluate and a diluted stream (waste water) with TDS not higher than 20 g/l; and c. biologically treating the diluted stream obtained in (b) forming biological sludge, or excess sludge, and clarified water.

  • Patent number: 11691580
Abstract: A metal shock absorption element having a first metal sheet and a second metal sheet. The first metal sheet is shaped in the form of a longitudinally open metal profile and has a substantially “C”-shaped cross-section. The second metal sheet is shaped in the form of a longitudinally open metal profile and has a substantially “C”-shaped cross section. The second metal sheet is inserted in a first longitudinal channel of the first metal sheet. The second metal sheet is made integral in one single piece with the first metal sheet in a collection of points to create a metal honeycomb structure having a closed cross-section and metal channels.

  • Patent number: 11292407
Abstract: A polymer spacer element for absorbing impact for an engine-powered vehicle includes an open front extremity and a rear extremity, and a honeycomb structure having channels made in a single piece and at least three channels each of which extends from the first open front extremity towards the second rear extremity. In addition, each channel of the channels is tapered from the first open front extremity towards the second rear extremity or vice-versa and presents an inner rake angle. In addition, each channel includes an elevation and a transversal section having a polygon shape that is regular or irregular, in which the transversal section has an equivalent lateral dimension equal to a diameter of a circumference having minimum diameter which circumscribes the transversal section of each corresponding channel. Each channel presents a ratio between the elevation and the transversal dimension which is lower than or equal to three.
