  • Patent number: 8974639
Abstract: Improved height and angle adjustment mechanisms and methods for producing paper includes a plurality of height and angle adjustment mechanisms arranged in the forming or wet section of a Fourdrinier. Glide shoes and cam-blocks having sloped grooves are arranged to be driven within a recess of an upper pultrusion assembly to change the angle or height of a particular foil blade. Actuators extend or withdraw a connecting rod, coupled to the cam-blocks, to influence heights and angles of various foils blades.
