In one approach, the feeding apparatus comprises a flotation insert (30) and a food tray (40). The food tray (40) comprises a plurality of apertures (46) sized to allow passage of aquatic food into an aquarium. In another approach, the feeding apparatus comprises a clip (130) suited to hold seaweed or other food materials.
