Abstract: Method for treating a cytopathological disease or other medical condition in a mammal, including the steps of harvesting a biological specimen containing stem cells selected from peripheral blood and/or bone marrow from the body of a donor, then storing the harvested bone marrow for a predetermined waiting period before re-infusing it back into the same donor after the donor later contracts and is diagnosed with one or more of a cytopthalogical illness, a chronic fatigue syndrome, and/or damaged tissue. Then, at least a portion of the stored biological specimen containing stem cells is reintroduced in the donor, where the reintroduction occurs either after any cytotoxic therapy is performed on the donor that damages native bone marrow, or as part of another treatment used to restore or rejuvenate healthy tissue, in the donor.
