Publication number: 20230350705Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for providing user feedback to an action selection model. In an aspect, a method includes displaying interaction elements for recommendations selected by a selection model. Each interaction element may be selected by one of a first interaction mode or a second interaction mode. Selection by the first interaction mode indicates an acceptance of the recommendation described the interaction element. Selection by the second interaction mode causes the user device to display the decision data that caused the selection model to select the recommendation described by the interaction element. In some implementations, the recommendations are actions that a user device may perform. In other implementations, each recommendation may be one of an action that the user device may perform or content that a user may consume.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 30, 2023Publication date: November 2, 2023Inventors: Ratna S. Patent number: 9224009Abstract: A system and method for adjusting privacy protection for a user in a plurality of applications is disclosed. A privacy protection request is sent to a user device. In one embodiment, the request is displayed on user device in the form of a pop-up window. In another embodiment, the request is displayed in a privacy settings area. The privacy protection request includes a plurality of protection levels. Once a protection level is selected the protection level is sent back and received by the system. Privacy settings are adjusted according to the selected privacy protection level based on information stored in a master template. In some embodiments, the privacy protection level is translated to associated privacy settings. Once the privacy settings have been adjusted, the privacy settings are applied to a plurality of online applications associated with the user based on the privacy protection level selected.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2014Date of Patent: December 29, 2015Assignee: Google Inc.Inventors: Sean Y. Liu, Alex M. Cook, III, Matthew Stephen Steiner, Jonathan S. McPhie, Pavani Naishadh Diwanji, David M. Cohen

Patent number: 8458212Abstract: Apparatus, system and methods for a media plan managing interface are disclosed. A data hierarchy for a media plan is defined. The multilevel data hierarchy includes different levels for orders and placements. An input form is provided to receive modifications to the values in the different levels of the hierarchy. Any modifications of data are compared against the permitted inputs provided through a conditional input field. If the modifications are permitted inputs, then they are accepted and conditional input fields are set up for any subsequent data input. The data hierarchy is stored as a media plan.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2012Date of Patent: June 4, 2013Assignee: Google Inc.Inventors: Dorothy Nelson, Eunkyung Chung, Aideen J. Stronge, Alex M.
