Abstract: A fishing lure that generates a splashing effect when deployed in a body of water and attached to a kite fishing assembly. This splashing effect attracts target fish in the same manner that live bait does. Different optional features can be included in the kite fishing lure. One option is to include a chemical concavity configured to store a chemical substance that is dispersed into the body of water in concentrations designed to attract proximate located fish. Another option is to include a movement simulator designed to simulate movement of a struggling bait fish. Yet another option is to include a replaceable skin sheaf designed to be periodically replaced after being worn from repetitive usage.
