  • Patent number: 12000678
Abstract: A conducted electrical weapon (“CEW”) comprises one or more mechanisms for receiving, aligning, and maintaining a position of a magazine within a bay of the CEW. Bias spring and datums may be used to align the magazine to be coupled to the CEW, wherein bias springs are configured to apply pressure to push the magazine to interact with datums to align the magazine. A spring and ramp mechanism may be used to maintain a position of the magazine coupled to the bay of the CEW. Respective grades of a locking ramp and a release ramp are used to lock a spring in place when a magazine is coupled to the bay of the CEW.

  • Patent number: 11992217
Abstract: A device includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending therethrough. The capsule is releasably coupled to a proximal portion of the device. Device also includes a first arm rigidly fixed to the distal end of the capsule to extend distally therefrom. In addition, Device includes a second arm, a proximal end of which is slidably received within the capsule so that the second arm is movable between an open configuration, in which the second arm is moved laterally away from the first arm and a distal end of the second arm is moved distally past the distal end of the first arm, and a closed configuration, in which the second arm is moved toward the first arm and the distal end of the second arm is moved proximally toward the distal end of the first arm.

  • Patent number: 11881017
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for determining turbidity of water using machine learning. One of the methods includes obtaining, by a camera, an image of water; detecting, using a blob detector, a plurality of blobs in the image that represent particles suspended in the water; determining a distribution of the plurality of blobs; determining, from the distribution of the plurality of blobs, a measurement associated with turbidity of the water; and providing a signal associated with the measurement.

  • Publication number: 20230223110
Abstract: A method for calling variants in genetic data includes sorting nodes in a graph-based reference genome, assigning identification information to the sorted nodes, assigning depth values to respective ones of the sorted nodes, determining a reference genome path and one or more variation paths, and determining one or more variants in the graph-based reference genome based on the depth values assigned to nodes on the one or more variation paths.

  • Publication number: 20220382904
Abstract: A method of securely accessing a database with sensitive data, such as the clinical information of patients, by a client in a privacy-preserving manner, including: communicating with the server to obtain tags for specific attribute-value pairs when the client is authorized to make a query; imposing a tag quota per client and restricting tag generation to authorized query terms with valid digital signatures from a third-party authority; storing the tags and their associated query terms in confidence for future queries; sending a combination of tags that define the terms of a conjunctive query over a secure channel to a proxy; receiving from the proxy encrypted coefficients of a polynomial whose roots are indices to the query results; decrypting the encrypted coefficients in a first protocol with the server; calculating the roots of the polynomial based upon the decrypted coefficients and discarding any superfluous roots; obtaining the encrypted records associated with the calculated roots from the proxy; and d

  • Publication number: 20220310271
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for constructing a state transition graph, wherein the method includes obtaining data that includes treatment history and clinical data of a cohort of patients; and generating, by the one or more computing devices, individual treatment pathways for individual patients of the cohort of patients using the treatment history and clinical data for the individual patients; wherein the individual treatment pathways are generated using user-defined parameters including: one or more qualifying events; one or more response states to the one or more qualifying events; and one or more reversible or collapsible events. The method additionally includes constructing a state transition graph that represents multiple aligned and merged individual treatment pathways including the one or more qualifying events, the one or more response states to the one or more qualifying events and the one or more reversible or collapsible events.

  • Patent number: 4960150
Abstract: A movable safety cover for covering an elongated opening in a floor. Has a plurality of deck carriers positioned adjacently and supported on each elongated side of the opening by a respective carrier track. Has track roller members mounted at each end of the side members of a carrier in a position slightly out of contact with the track member when the side members are in frictional contact and engaging the track in rolling relation when one end of the carrier is lifted up slightly from the frictional contact of the tracks. Has a plurality of low profile rolling ball transfer members mounted on top of the side members to permit the carrier to roll across the top of an adjacent carrier.
