  • Patent number: 11946747
Abstract: One or more maps are obtained by an agricultural work machine. The one or more maps map one or more agricultural characteristic values at different geographic locations of a field. An in-situ sensor on the agricultural work machine senses an agricultural characteristic as the agricultural work machine moves through the field. A predictive map generator generates a predictive map that predicts a predictive agricultural characteristic at different locations in the field based on a relationship between the values in the one or more maps and the agricultural characteristic sensed by the in-situ sensor. The predictive map can be output and used in automated machine control.

  • Patent number: 5353614
Abstract: A steering wheel lock having a generally flat circular cover (1) which substantially totally covers the steering wheel (12) to prevent an authorised access to the wheel or turning of the wheel. The cover (1) includes a perimeter lip (2) to prevent side access to the wheel and to maintain the cover (1) overlapping about the wheel (12). One side of the open diametric face of the device includes a plate section (3), and the opposite side includes a removable diametrically reciprocable pin (7). The pin (7) is attached to a long rigid arm (4) which is lockable in a diametric position by lock (5) which is rigid with the cover (1). The bar (4) prevents substantial turning of the device by contacting surrounding vehicle structure and a spigot (13) prevents substantial turning of the wheel (12) relative to the device.

  • Patent number: 4538832
Abstract: An upper anchorage for a shoulder belt of a vehicle seat belt system comprises a plate-like carriage slidable within a generally tubular upright track having a longitudinal slot through which a support for the belt outwardly projects. An arm or arms pivoted on the carriage, or a spring loaded detent projecting therefrom, normally engage in recesses in a wall or walls of the tubular track. The carriage can then quite readily be moved at least upwardly as desired. When a predetermined tension is experienced by the belt the support moves to cause the or each arm to be moved into, or further into, the recess, or, if only upward movement is normally permitted, the support can be moved upwardly on the carriage to allow adjustment downwardly.

  • Patent number: 4305554
Abstract: A vehicle seat belt retractor has a spool fitted around the shaft of the reel, the spool having a slot formed at a radial step through which the belt extends from a securement to the shaft. The outer surface of the spool otherwise comprises two or three part circular cylindrical portions which smoothly merge. The step approximates to the thickness of the belt so a smooth spiral configuration is obtained for the coiled belt but only cylindrical surfaces, and not a spiral surface, have to be produced, with manufacturing advantages. The spool can be of a size to accommodate any doubled portion of the belt required to form a securement loop. The spool increases the effective diameter of the reel and so reduces spring tension on the belt in use.

  • Patent number: 4243266
Abstract: In a vehicle seat belt system in which the belt has a diagonal or shoulder portion and a lap or pelvis portion, the diagonal portion is connectable at a desired position to an extension of the lap portion which is stretched diagonally upright over the front of the back of the seat. A snubber device isolates the portions of the belt providing the lap portion and the extension, the upper end of which is connected to an anchorage for a retractor from which the diagonal portion downwardly extends. The diagonal portion and the extension are connected by a device such that tension in the belt as it extends forwardly over the users shoulder, tilts the device into engagement with the seat back to enhance frictional engagement therewith against inadvertent movement of the device.
