  • Publication number: 20250144645
Abstract: An applicator for a syringe is provided that includes a hub configured to be disposed at least partially within a nozzle of the syringe and defining a fluid passage therethrough, with one or barbs on the hub that frictionally and sealingly engage an interior of the nozzle in a manner minimizing void space associated with waste of deliverable material, and an applicator tip extending distally from the hub. The barb(s) may have varying diameters in order to enable the applicator to be engaged and utilized with syringes having different diameter nozzles. Further the fluid passage through the hub and applicator tip is dimensioned to minimize the volume of material that is retained within the applicator after use, thereby increasing the volume of material that can dispensed from the syringe for use in a procedure or procedures and minimize waste.

  • Publication number: 20250135645
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining movement of a robot are provided. A computing system of the robot receives information including an initial state of the robot and a goal state of the robot. The computing system determines, using nonlinear optimization, a candidate trajectory for the robot to move from the initial state to the goal state. The computing system determines whether the candidate trajectory is feasible. If the candidate trajectory is feasible, the computing system provides the candidate trajectory to a motion control module of the robot. If the candidate trajectory is not feasible, the computing system determines, using nonlinear optimization, a different candidate trajectory for the robot to move from the initial state to the goal state, the nonlinear optimization using one or more changed parameters.

  • Publication number: 20250076558
Abstract: An electronic device may include a display having a waveguide that propagates image light and having optics such as a tint layer or bias lens mounted to the waveguide by a ring of adhesive. The ring may laterally surround an air cavity between the optics and the waveguide. A surface relief grating may be mounted to the waveguide within the air cavity. One or more air flow channels may be provided in the ring of adhesive and/or the optics to constrain air flow out of the air cavity on the time scale of a drop or impact event. This may configure the air cavity to maintain its volume during the event, effectively forming an air cushion for components in the air cavity. The air flow channels may pass air between the air cavity and the environment on the time scale of environmental ambient pressure changes.

  • Patent number: 12235650
Abstract: A method of operating a mobile robot includes generating a segmentation map defining respective regions of a surface based on occupancy data that is collected by a mobile robot responsive to navigation of the surface, identifying sub-regions of at least one of the respective regions as non-clutter and clutter areas, and computing a coverage pattern based on identification of the sub-regions. The coverage pattern indicates a sequence for navigation of the non-clutter and clutter areas, and is provided to the mobile robot. Responsive to the coverage pattern, the mobile robot sequentially navigates the non-clutter and clutter areas of the at least one of the respective regions of the surface in the sequence indicated by the coverage pattern. Related methods, computing devices, and computer program products are also discussed.
