Publication number: 20240170274Abstract: An IMS device is provided that includes at least one surface, first and second pluralities of electrodes disposed on the surface, and an ion path having first and second accumulation regions and a separation region. The IMS device is configured to receive, guide, temporally separate, and discharge ions. Each accumulation region is configured to switch between accumulation and release states in which ions are accumulated and released therefrom, respectively. The separation region is positioned downstream of the first accumulation region and configured to temporally separate ions based on mobility. The first accumulation region is synchronized with a downstream mass filter while the second accumulation region is dependent upon the state of a gating element, which is positioned downstream of the IMS device and configured to control the flow of ions to a mass analyzer. A method in accordance with the foregoing is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 16, 2023Publication date: May 23, 2024Applicant: MOBILion Systems, Inc.Inventors: Jacob McCabe, Liulin Deng, John Daniel DeBord, Alexander A. Makarov, Kyle Fort, Brian D. Adamson, Eloy R. Wouters

Patent number: 11988290Abstract: A multi-level rotor for a coolant flow control valve assembly, which accommodates an increased number of inlet ports, outlet ports, and flow channels using a single rotor located in a housing, enabling a larger number of flow configurations. The housing includes nine ports which may function as an inlet or an outlet, which facilitates different flow configurations. For a thermal management system, reduced cost and less space utilization is achieved by a reduced number of valves, where the multi-level rotor is able to fluidically connect multiple inlets/outlets. This enables different flow configurations, depending on the degree of rotation. The channels at different levels are sealed from each other within the housing. The flow channels are manufactured into a single entity, therefore always having the same positional accuracy relative to each other when the rotor is repositioned.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2021Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Inventors: Ravinder Singh Gill, Alexander Dragojlov, Benjamin MacNally, Jeremy Daniel Schmidt

Publication number: 20240104193Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for direct assignment of physical devices to confidential virtual machines (VMs). At a first guest privilege context of a guest partition, a direct assignment of a physical device associated with a host computer system to the guest partition is identified. The guest partition includes the first guest privilege context and a second guest privilege context, which is restricted from accessing memory associated with the first guest privilege context. The guest partition corresponds to a confidential VM, such that a memory region associated with the guest partition is inaccessible to a host operating system. It is determined, based on a policy, that the physical device is allowed to be directly assigned to the guest partition. Communication between the physical device and the second guest privilege context is permitted, such as by exposing the physical device on a virtual bus and/or forwarding an interrupt.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 26, 2022Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Jin LIN, Jason Stewart WOHLGEMUTH, Michael Bishop EBERSOL, Aditya BHANDARI, Steven Adrian WEST, Emily Cara CLEMENS, Michael Halstead KELLEY, Dexuan CUI, Attilio MAINETTI, Sarah Elizabeth STEPHENSON, Carolina Cecilia PEREZ-VARGAS, Antoine Jean Denis DELIGNAT-LAVAUD, Kapil VASWANI, Alexander Daniel GREST, Steve Michel PRONOVOST, David Alan HEPKIN

Publication number: 20240078374Abstract: Implementations described herein relate to causing emoji(s) that are associated with a given emotion class expressed by a spoken utterance to be visually rendered for presentation to a user at a display of a client device of the user. Processor(s) of the client device may receive audio data that captures the spoken utterance, process the audio data to generate textual data that is predicted to correspond to the spoken utterance, and cause a transcription of the textual data to be visually rendered for presentation to the user via the display. Further, the processor(s) may determine, based on processing the textual data, whether the spoken utterance expresses a given emotion class. In response to determining that the spoken utterance expresses the given emotion class, the processor(s) may cause emoji(s) that are stored in association with the given emotion class to be visually rendered for presentation to the user via the display.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2022Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Ajay Gokhale, Jiawei Chen, Alvin Abdagic, Adrien Olczak, Alessandro Agostini, Alexander Robertson, Cristian Udrescu, Jackie Xiang, Jennifer Daniel, Keqian Yan, Mehek Sharma, Nicolo D'Ercole, Yang Lu, Dror Ayalon

Publication number: 20240068503Abstract: A clamp device for clamping a boom hinge rail 12 of gantry crane in-situ comprises a cap portion 14 slidably mounted on a base portion 13 and secured together by a Locking bolt 15, the cap portion 14 comprising a body 18 and a nose 19 which extends laterally outwardly from the body 18 along a nose axis. The clamp portion 13 and the body 18 of the cap portion 14 comprise complementary opposed arcuate mating surfaces 21, 22 which permit rotational movement to the cap portion 14 relative to the base portion 13 about an axis P which extends perpendicular to the 10 nose axis. The base and cap portions 13, 14 of the clamp always engage each other regardless of the position of the nose of the clamp, so that forces applied to the nose 19 of the clamp 10 by the rail 12 are directly applied to the base portion 13 of the clamp 10, thereby providing a clamp which is less prone to failure.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2020Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: GANTRY RAILING LTD.Inventors: Reece George HALLING, Alexander Daniel Barrons NELSON, Peter Nathan BYGRAVE
