  • Patent number: 11798286
Abstract: A tracking system for tracking objects within a field of view is disclosed. The field of view may include a first zone and an adjacent zone of interest where at least two gates are associated with respective sides of the first zone within the field of view. The first camera is configured to detect when an object crosses one of the at least two gates and track the object throughout the first zone and the zone of interest. The tracking system is configured to generate a first event message in response to the object being tracked from one of the gates into the zone of interest and subsequently leaving the first zone through a dedicated gate of the at least two gates.

  • Patent number: 7950891
Abstract: A method for loading and unloading rail cars includes at least one car, having a frame and a superstructure, moved into loading and unloading positions. During unloading the car superstructure is lifted off from the frame with lifting devices to an unloading level, and after the lifting operation the superstructure is moved at the unloading level in a transverse direction with respect to a longitudinal plane of the car until the superstructure is seated completely on a loading and unloading face. During loading the superstructure is moved from the loading and unloading face in a transverse direction with respect to the longitudinal plane of the car to above the frame and the superstructure is lowered, by lifting devices, onto the frame located in the loading and unloading positions. The lifting and lowering of the superstructures is carried out by lifting devices that are anchored to the track bed or secured to a platform.

  • Patent number: 7049769
Abstract: It is intended to be possible to use a respective setting apparatus (E1, E2) to set the color and the brightness of an illumination device separately. Light sources having three different colors are operated for this purpose. Only one first power supply (CON, PWM1) is provided for two colors, whereas the third color is supplied by a second power supply (CON, PWM2). The brightness can be set by altering the power output of the first (CON, PWM1) and the second (CON, PWM2) power supplies at the same time. The color can be set by altering the power output of the second (CON, PWM2) power supply.

  • Patent number: 6135524
Abstract: The invention furnishes a stilting frame for the transport of containers by means of transhipment equipment, with the stilting frame being designed in such a way that in total four combined positions between the latch bolts of the transhipment equipment and the latch bolts of the stilting frame may be obtained from both switching positions of the latch bolts of the transhipment equipment. The stilting frame may thus be operated in a fully automatic manner and the operator may easily determine whether only the stilting frame is joined to the transhipment equipment, whether the container is also joined to the stilting frame, or whether or not all three elements are joined to each other.
