  • Patent number: 6733537
Abstract: An apparatus for increasing the rate of expansion of tissue area and volume, either in vivo or in vitro, which comprises a tissue expansion device suitable for expansion of tissue and a controller connected to the device, wherein the controller causes the device to subject the tissue to stretching forces that alternatively increase and decrease to provide a series of stretch and relax phases during a period of tissue expansion without intervention of an operator.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 2, 2000
Date of Patent: May 11, 2004
    Assignee: Reconstructive Technologies, Inc.
Inventors: Antony J. Fields, Gary B. Greenburg, Alexander Kazaks, Joshua Korman
  • Patent number: 6668836
Abstract: A method of increasing the rate of expansion of tissue area and volume, either in vivo or in vitro, which comprises preparing a tissue for expansion and subjecting the tissue to stretching forces, wherein the stretching forces are alternatively increased and decreased to provide alternating periods of stretch and relax cycles.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 2, 2000
Date of Patent: December 30, 2003
    Assignee: Reconstructive Technologies, Inc.

  • Patent number: 5600098
Abstract: An organizer for securing a plurality of insulated electrical conductors such as PC interconnect and power cables. The organizer comprises a body constructed of a single piece of thin, flat, flexible fabric having a rectangular configuration with first and second end edges and first and second side edges. A fastening mechanism is attached to the side edges to bring them together as the body is wrapped around the cables. The fastening mechanism is preferably a zipper, straps or a hook and loop type fastener. One of more access apertures may be disposed in the body.
