  • Publication number: 20240141207
Abstract: An adhesive tape (1) which requires a smaller amount of adhesive by comparison with conventional adhesive tapes having the same adhesive properties is obtained using a method for producing an adhesive tape, which method comprises the following steps: a) mixing an ASE thickener with water and producing an (ASE) thickener-water mixture (7); b) producing an adhesive dispersion (8) from an adhesive and a solvent; c) providing a textile substrate (2); d) applying the (ASE) thickener-water mixture (7) to the textile substrate; e) applying the adhesive dispersion (8) to the (ASE) thickener-water mixture (7) in order to obtain the adhesive tape; f) drying the obtained adhesive tape; in which method the thickener, in particular the ASE thickener, is saturated with water and the adhesive dispersion (8) is applied after or at the same time as the (ASE) thickener-water mixture (7) is applied.

  • Patent number: 11920066
Abstract: The invention relates to an adhesive tape, comprising at least one layer of a first, heat-curable adhesive material and, on one of the surfaces of the heat-curable adhesive material layer, a layer of a second, pressure-sensitive adhesive material, characterized in that the second, pressure-sensitive adhesive material is based on one or more unvulcanized rubbers having a saturated carbon chain of the polymethylene type.

  • Patent number: 11292941
Abstract: The invention pertains to an adhesive tape, more particularly for wrapping elongate material such as cable harnesses in a motor vehicle, comprising a carrier having a top side and a bottom side, the carrier, based on the cross direction, having a width BT, there being provided, on at least one long edge on the bottom side of the carrier, a strip of adhesive which has a width BK of at least 3 mm and at most 30% of the width BT, characterized in that as well as the strip of adhesive on the bottom side of the carrier, there is at least one polymer strip which extends over a width BP of at least 60%, preferably 75%, more preferably 90%, very preferably 100%, of the residual width BRB—not coated with the strip of adhesive—of the carrier.

  • Publication number: 20200339839
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an adhesive tape, by: providing a tapelike textile carrier (2), applying a thickener (7) and separately aqueous dispersion-based adhesive (8) to the textile carrier (2), the thickener (7) and the aqueous dispersion-based adhesive (8) coming into contact with each other once applied, then drying the dispersion-based adhesive (8).
