Patent number: 11966560Abstract: In some embodiments, an electronic device presents media items from different media applications in a unified media browsing application. In some embodiments, an electronic device facilitates browsing of media from different media applications based on category of media (e.g., movies, television shows, etc.). In some embodiments, an electronic device facilitates setup of a unified media browsing application that presents media items from different media applications in a unified media browsing user interface. In some embodiments, an electronic device displays multiple episodes of a collection of episodic content (e.g., a television series) in a user interface for the collection of episodic content. In some embodiments, an electronic device displays representations of, and provides access to, live-event media items accessible on the electronic device.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2017Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Alexander W. Publication number: 20180271040Abstract: A growing system for providing fluids to a plurality of growing assemblies using only a single pump and fluid source. The growing system generally includes a single fluid source such as a reservoir from which fluids are drawn by a single pump. A main manifold connected to the pump outlet splits the fluids drawn from the fluid source into a plurality of feeder pipes. Each of the feeder pipes provides fluid to a separate growing assembly; with the present invention providing support for a plurality of growing assemblies. Each growing assembly comprises an inlet manifold for receiving the fluids, a plurality of growing pipes for providing the fluids to a plurality of planters, and a drainage device for discharging fluids back into the fluid source for further use.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 29, 2018Publication date: September 27, 2018Inventors: Justin S. Williams, Alexander M. Woods-Leo

Patent number: 3975039Abstract: A method of recovering a heat-recoverable article onto a hollow substrate, the heat-recoverable article and the substrate each having at least one open end. The method comprises positioning the substrate between a rigid member and the heat-recoverable article, the substrate being positioned in the direction of recovery of the heat-recoverable article and at least part of the rigid member being in contact with the substrate. The heat-recoverable article is then treated to cause recovery thereof. The hollow substrates to which the method of the invention is applied are those which would be distorted if a heat-recoverable article were recovered onto them in the absence of a rigid member. Advantageously, the heat-recoverable article is a heat-shrinkable sleeve and in this case the rigid member is positioned inside the hollow substrate.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 1974Date of Patent: August 17, 1976Assignee: Raychem CorporationInventors: Richard J.
