  • Patent number: 11504013
Abstract: A monitoring system configured to measure the user's health-related parameters while in a certain state is disclosed. Based on whether the user is in the certain state and/or one or more criteria being met, the monitoring system can perform a physiological measurement such as a blood pressure measurement. The monitoring system can be capable of dynamically adjusting the measurement parameters, criteria, and acquired information based one or more scalers. The criteria can be based on user states or conditions such that user disruptions can be reduced and the measurement accuracy and/or efficiency can be enhanced. The monitoring system can also measure the user's parameters during the measurement and may abort the measurement if the measurement may not have accurate information and/or to reduce any disruption to the user. Alternatively, the measurement can be annotated so that the measurement can be used during data interpretation with certain qualifiers attached.

  • Patent number: 11507617
Abstract: Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for extracting topics from a corpus of exchanges. The system generates vector representations of utterances of an entity common to the exchanges and uses the vector representations to cluster the utterances. The system labels the clusters and uses the labeled clusters to generate an exchange label sequence for each of the exchanges, where each exchange label sequence corresponds to a sequence of utterances generated by the entity. The system processes the exchange label sequences to generate one or more subsets of the utterances, where each of the subsets corresponds to a particular topic.

  • Patent number: 11506250
Abstract: Systems and methods of controlling a clutch in a vehicle are provided. With the goal of enabling autonomous/assisted control of the clutch by an electronic control unit while preserving the familiar mechanical feeling at the clutch pedal that driving enthusiasts prefer, embodiments of the disclosed technology use a shuttle valve to blend control of clutch engagement between a driver and an ECU. In these embodiments, a clutch pedal in the vehicle may be mechanically connected to a piston in a first hydraulic cylinder (just like in a traditional mechanical/hydraulic clutch actuation system), and an ECU may actuate a second hydraulic cylinder. Accordingly, a shuttle valve may be used to route the fluid coming from the cylinder with the greater pressure (i.e. the driver actuated cylinder or the ECU actuated cylinder), to a third hydraulic cylinder which adjusts engagement of a clutch by a mechanical linkage.

  • Patent number: 11507619
Abstract: A display apparatus includes user input circuitry for receiving user commands and a display for displaying video content and a user interface. The video content includes metadata. The display apparatus includes a processor in communication with the user input circuitry and the display; and non-transitory computer readable media in communication with the processor that stores instruction code. The instruction code, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to receive, from the user input circuitry, a query regarding an image of the video content currently displayed on the display; and determine one or more objects of the image associated with the query based on the metadata. The processor updates the user interface to depict one or more controls, each control being associated with one of the determined one or more objects; and receives a selection of one of the controls. The processor then updates the user interface to depict information related to the selection.

  • Patent number: 11507843
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for managing the storage of static and dynamic neural network data within a non-volatile memory (NVM) die for use with deep neural networks (DNN). Some aspects relate to separate trim sets for separately configuring a static data NVM array for static input data and a dynamic data NVM array for dynamic synaptic weight data. For example, the static data NVM array may be configured via one trim set for data retention, whereas the dynamic data NVM array may be configured via another trim set for write performance. The trim sets may specify different configurations for error correction coding, write verification, and read threshold calibration, as well as different read/write voltage thresholds. In some examples, neural network regularization is provided within a DNN by setting trim parameters to encourage bit flips to avoid overfitting. Some examples relate to managing non-DNN data, such as stochastic gradient data.
