  • Patent number: 11970365
Abstract: A protective device for protecting assembly personnel during assembly work on a passenger transport system configured as an escalator or moving walkway. The passenger transport system has at least one clamping device for a balustrade panel. A base region of the protective device is configured in such a way that the base region can be held in the clamping device such that it can be clamped in place in lieu of a balustrade panel.

  • Publication number: 20230416056
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a rail fastening device for fastening guide rail sections in a guide rail system of an escalator or a moving walkway. The guide rail system includes at least one side plate having a hole, wherein the area of the hole has a hole length which is greater than its hole width. The rail fastening device has a rail receiving part, a screw connection and a clamping bar piece, wherein the length and width of the clamping bar piece match the hole width and the hole length of the hole such that said clamping bar piece can be guided through the hole in a first position and can be supported on the material of the side plate surrounding the hole in a second position, in the fully assembled state.

  • Publication number: 20210087021
Abstract: A method and a device for monitoring a state of a physical passenger transport system are described. The method includes monitoring the state of the passenger transport system using an actualized digital replica dataset (ADRD) which reproduces characterizing properties of components of the passenger transport system in an actual configuration in a machine-processable manner after assembly and installation thereof in a building. At least one detection device is arranged in the physical passenger transport system and detects changes in at least one characterizing property that occur due to wear. These changes are transmitted to the ADRD, wherein changes and change trends in the components are monitored and evaluated using calculations and/or using static and dynamic simulations.

  • Patent number: 10689232
Abstract: The application relates to a floor covering of an escalator or moving walkway. The floor covering has a floor covering support, a first covering element and at least one adjoining covering element. At least one device which predetermines a single-possible, correct installation position of the covering elements on the floor covering support is arranged between at least the first covering element and the adjoining covering element, wherein, in the correct installation position, the first covering element and the adjoining covering element are arranged to be flush with the floor covering support and, in an incorrect installation position, at least part of the adjoining covering element is arranged in a visibly protruding manner on the floor covering support due to the device.

  • Patent number: 8579457
Abstract: An escalator or moving walkway comprises a balustrade base, an illumination profile disposed in the base and a transparent cover through which illumination is provided. An illumination strip is located within the illumination profile, and has a plurality of LED lamps. A reflecting surface is provided on the illumination profile, and is aligned such that at least a portion of the light emitted by the LED lamps impinging upon the surface is reflected in the direction of the cover, facilitating an even level of illumination.
