    Abstract: A 360 video is presented in a three dimensional (3D) environment. Rather than simply stacking graphics in two dimensions, graphics are placed using both 3D models and textures. The 3D models may be altered so that the texture is aligned in three dimensions into the 360 video space. An instance of a 3D model combined with a key and fill texture form a group. The group has a 3D orientation and placement so that the group as aligned into the 360 degree video space may not be visible from all user look directions. The inserted groups, including live video as well as static graphics, may be projected into either mono or stereo views to give the viewer a sense of space, depth, and orientation.

    Abstract: An electrical connector having a first and a second connector housing, each of which holds electrical contacts and which can be mated to bring the contacts of the first and of the second connector housing into contact with one another. The connector includes an actuating device in the form of a lever pivotably mounted on the first connector housing and movable between first and second positions, wherein the actuating device is held in the first position by a safety device, which allows the actuating device to be moved to the second position only after the first connector housing has been correctly positioned with the second connector housing. The first connector housing is moved relative to the second connector housing during the movement of the actuating device thus facilitating correct mating of the two connector housings, particularly when space conditions present a problem.

    Abstract: A housing adapted to a connector position assurance system is incorporated in an electrical connector assembly. A first electrical connector includes a housing having a latch portion and an activating portion. A second electrical connector is mateable with the first connector and includes said housing having a latching member movable into engagement with the latch portion of the first connector when the connectors are mated. A connector position assurance device (CPA) is mounted on the latching member for movement relative thereto between an initial inactive position and a final indicating position to indicate that the connectors are mated. Complementary interengaging stops are provided between the CPA and the latching member to prevent the CPA from moving from its initial position to its final position when the connectors are not mated.

    Abstract: A female electrical terminal has a contact end and a terminating end. The contact end includes a pair of opposing walls for receiving a male terminal therebetween. A flexible element is disposed in the contact end for pressing against the male terminal. The flexible element includes a mounting section with spaced wall portions juxtaposed inside the opposing walls of the contact end. Complementary interengaging latches are provided between the opposing walls and the spaced wall portions of the mounting section of the flexible element. An abutment is provided in the contact end to prevent inward collapsing of the spaced wall portions and, thereby, to maintain the latches in interengagement.

    Abstract: A connector position assurance system is provided for an electrical connector adapted to mate with another mateable connecting device. The connector includes a housing, and a primary locking arm is mounted on the housing for movement between a first position when the connector is fully mated with the mateable connecting device and second position of incomplete mating of the connector with the device. The primary locking arm includes a latch for mechanically interlocking with a cooperating latch of the mateable connecting device. A locking slider is mounted in a recessed area of the housing so as to be shrouded by the housing. The slider is slidable between a first position allowing movement of the locking arm and mating of the connector and the device, and a second position blocking movement of the locking arm from its first position with the connector and the device fully mated.
