  • Publication number: 20240068363
Abstract: A drilling assembly for downhole to surface communications is provided. The drilling assembly includes a series of pipe segments coupled in fluid communication between a slip ring assembly and an end pipe portion. The slip ring assembly is coupled in data and fluid communication with the pipe segments. A surface communications link is in data communication with the drilling assembly via the slip ring assembly. An end pipe portion is coupled with the drilling assembly that includes an electronics assembly with electronic components for transferring data to the slip ring assembly via the drilling assembly. A drill bit is operably coupled with the end pipe portion for drilling a borehole. Each pipe segment includes an outer conductor portion, a hollow inner conductor portion, and a dielectric portion for electrical isolation between the outer conductor portion and the inner conductor portion.

  • Publication number: 20120116834
Abstract: Tasks can be visualized and tracked through automatic generation of a task board based on data from a project management application and data transferred from a task board to a project management application. Summary tasks, which represent grouping of related tasks in project management, are pivoted such that sub-tasks can be laid out in task board rows or “stories.” Progress status indicators in a task board (or columns) are derived automatically from intrinsic and traditional project management application fields like “percent complete” enabling users to take advantage of traditional project management features such as dependencies, resource leveling, etc., while presenting a simplified and intuitive task board interface to a project manager and/or a project team.

  • Publication number: 20120116835
Abstract: Seamless interaction between a task board and an underlying Critical Path Method (CPM) based project management application is provided, where users are enabled to move tasks on a task board user interface across columns or summary task (“story”) rows. Upon detecting a move of a task, a task board application (or its parent project management application) updates a project hierarchy of tasks reflecting the new grouping if the move is across rows such that critical path and other computations for the overall project can be updated by the project management application. If the move is across columns indicating a change of task property, relevant properties associated with the task (and/or its parent task(s)) are updated and provided to the project management application for re-computation of appropriate aspects of the project.
