  • Patent number: 11292220
Abstract: A rework press assembly for reworking a dimensionally non-conformant component is provided. The rework press assembly includes a frame, a die coupled to the frame and configured to contact a first portion of the component, and a ram. The ram is coupled to the frame opposite the die with respect to an axis of the rework press assembly and is configured to contact a second portion of the component. The ram and the die define a component cavity therebetween. At least one of the die and the ram has a first length, relative to the axis, in response to the rework press assembly being at a first thermal condition. The at least one of the die and the ram has a second length, relative to the axis, in response to the rework press assembly being at a second thermal condition, and the second length is greater than the first length.

  • Patent number: 10610963
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to treating the surface of one or more blade structures. A surface treatment tool according to the disclosure can include a laser emitter configured for substantial perpendicular alignment with a target surface of a blade structure, the blade structure being mounted on a rotor; and a controller communicatively coupled to the laser emitter, wherein the controller adjusts an energy output and a pulse time of the laser emitter to sublimate a contaminant from the target surface of the blade structure.

  • Patent number: 10443610
Abstract: A system is provided, including an airfoil. The airfoil includes a first suction portion of a nominal airfoil profile substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y, and Z of a suction side as set forth in TABLE I to a maximum of three decimal places, wherein the X and Y values of the suction side are coordinate values that couple together to define suction side sections of the first suction portion of the nominal airfoil profile at each Z coordinate value, the suction side sections of the first suction portion of the nominal airfoil profile are coupled together to define the first suction portion, the airfoil includes an airfoil length along a Z axis, the first suction portion comprises a first portion length along the Z axis, the first portion length is less than or equal to the airfoil length, and the Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y, and Z are non-dimensional values convertible to dimensional distances.
