  • Patent number: 5342447
Abstract: A paint guide is particularly suited for use in painting large, exterior surfaces such as parking lots, warehouse floors, walkways, and curbs. The paint guide is formed of two frames, each having a rectangular planar base with at least one longitudinal side defining a planar surface perpendicular to the base. Each frame has an upright member at both of its latitudinal sides. The two frames are connected together at the upright members with releasable fastening means. Both the angle and the distance between the two bases can be adjusted so that the guide can be used both on flat surfaces and on outside corners.

  • Patent number: 4979490
Abstract: A device for added convenience in campfire cooking. The device comprises a telescoping post either to be driven into the ground by way of a self-contained sleeve hammer or to be held erect by a circular grille stand, a telescoping height adjustment made possible by use of a barrel washer, an adjustable grille arm to install at the upper end of the telescoping steel post, the adjustable grille arm to invert 180 degrees to provide for added adjustment of the grille plate over the fire, the grille plate to attach onto the grille arm in normal or inverted position, an anti-rotating clip to prevent unwanted spinning of the grille plate, grille arm slots in inner post so cut as to hold the grille arm horizontal, thumb screws in sleeve hammer to fasten to post for storage and to serve as hand guide when in use, thumb screws in vertical portion of grille stand to turn in and stop unwanted rotation of grille when in use.

  • Patent number: 4426057
Abstract: A combined shelf-support and easily detachable support for a clothes-hanger rod comprises a pair of angle-bar sections. The vertically depending wall-anchorable web of each angle-bar has a pair of struck-out tongues. A pair of flexible woven strips have their ends doubled-back and stitched to form loops snugly removably engageable over the tongues to define cradle-like supports for the ends of a clothes-hanger rod.

  • Patent number: 4206942
Abstract: A light-weight cargo-protecting and air-flow-drag-reducing wind-deflector is made quickly and easily attachable to the roofs of automobiles or truck cabs by suction cups and conventional gutter-anchorable straps. The wind-deflector is formed of a curved fiber-reinforced plastic sheet and is made adjustable about a transverse horizontal axis close to the vehicle roof at a fore-aft location selected for optimal effectiveness. The slip-stream-modifying angle adjustability is provided simply by a pair of arms medially divided and slightly overlapped, which arms laterally connect the rear portions of a rectangular base frame to the upper side portions of the plastic sheet. The arms are made effectively length-adjustable by changing the angle defined at the interconnections between their divided sections. The overlapped mating faces of the divided arms are preferably radially die-grooved about bearing apertures which co-axially receive the ends of a single axle-rod.
