Abstract: A housing for a lighting apparatus has body with a light beam channel and a light source leading to a mouth through the channel and, formed integrally with the housing body and disposed at a back portion of the housing body, a heat transfer region, with at least a portion of the housing body is formed of forged metal. The housing body includes a core body member and a shell body member A light beam channel is defined by an internal surface of the core body member, and a light source or light source mount therein. A core heat transfer region is present in the core body. The shell body member includes an aperture for securely receiving the core body member and includes a shell heat transfer region.
