  • Patent number: 11263367
Abstract: A method for simulating the distribution of blades on a turbomachine disc includes: providing blade configurations, each being associated with a blade and including at least one measurement of a balancing parameter measured on the associated blade; and searching for and selecting a bladed-disc distribution combining the configurations of blades supplied with positions on the disc, the bladed disc distribution encouraging the attainment of at least one criterion defined according to a predetermined cost function dependent on the balancing parameter measurements, and the searching and selecting being performed by successive iterations.

    Assignee: Safran Aircraft Engines
Inventors: Alexandre Anfriani, Anthony Bernard Germain Lafitte, Julien Alexis Louis Ricordeau, Jean-Michel Roux
  • Patent number: 11243525
Abstract: There is provided a method of and system for forecasting maintenance operations to be applied to an aircraft engine including a plurality of components monitored by damage counters, each damage counter being limited by a corresponding damage ceiling, the method including simulating consumption of the damage counters by iteratively drawing a series of simulation missions from a learning database; for each iteration, determining an accumulated consumption of each of the damage counters, until at least one damage counter related to a current simulation mission reaches a predetermined value limited by the damage ceiling associated with the damage counter; and applying a maintenance strategy on the current simulation mission to determine maintenance indicators representative of maintenance operations to be planned on the aircraft engine.

  • Patent number: 10671769
Abstract: A method and system forecasting maintenance operations to be applied to an engine or a part of the engine including a set of components, the system including: a processor building a lifetime model for each component of the set of components; a processor analysing the lifetime model associated with each component to build a set of failure models corresponding to the set of components, each component being associated with a failure model defining an inter-inspection interval reflecting an advanced degradation risk rate lower than a predetermined safety threshold; a processor defining a maintenance strategy including opportunistic inspections on the set of components; and a processor iteratively simulating maintenance actions on the set of components by using the set of failure models and the maintenance strategy to build a global model of relaxed maintenance operations which takes the opportunistic inspections into account while fulfilling a predetermined safety threshold of each component.

  • Publication number: 20170185937
Abstract: A flight data evaluation system to optimise operations of an aircraft, comprising: an acquisition circuit (3) configured to collect observation data (D1?Dn) related to a fleet of aircraft, and a processing circuit (5) configured: to assign quality values (Qi) to the observation data by applying predetermined learning models (M1?Mn) to them corresponding to their contexts, thus generating observation data enriched with quality values, to define indicators (21, 23) relative to specific elements of the aircraft, to compare the quality value (Qi) of each observation data (Di) with a predetermined threshold (S), and to analyse the observation data as a function of their quality values so as to optimise aircraft operations.
