  • Patent number: 10091835
Abstract: A method to manage operations between a backend server and a set of devices, each device comprising a customer account number and a Wi-Fi Broadcast System (WFBS), the WFBS iteratively performing the following steps at a predefined time interval: (1) generating at a given WFBS a customer identification number for each customer account (2) broadcasting the customer identification number to each WFBS on the subnet of the given WFBS (3) receiving the customer identification number from each WFBS on the subnet of the given WFBS (4) processing the received customer identification number at the given WFBS, and (5) designating the given WFBS as a master WFBS for a given time integral if the given WFBS satisfies a predetermined criterion before performing a set of master operations.

  • Patent number: 9820119
Abstract: A transparent method, and systems, for secure file transmission from a first computing device of a sender to a recipient computing device, comprising the steps of: selecting a group, at least one recipient having a recipient computing device and a file from the first computing device; selecting a lockbox option at the first computing device to securely transmit the file to a lockbox situated at the at least one recipient computing device; iteratively selecting a location on at least one recipient computing device where the file is to be dispatched by performing a set of lockbox content version control operations at the first computing device until a valid location on the at least one recipient computing device is selected; dispatching the file at the valid location and presenting an indication that the file is dispatched with the lockbox option; and displaying the file.

  • Publication number: 20050198105
Abstract: A client system issues a request for a resource over the Internet from a resource server. In constructing the response, the resource server includes: the data requested by the client, additional instructions for the client system to perform upon arrival of the response, and a natural language identifier which describes the resource requested by the client called the taxonomy string. Upon arrival of the response, the additional instructions inserted by the server system cause the client system to send a subsequent request over the Internet to an analytics system. The analytics request may contain a natural language description of the requested resource and a unique identifier to uniquely identify the client system. The analytics system performs analysis on the natural language identifier and stores it in a taxonomy database. The analytics system also performs calculations using the data provided in the analytics request to determine resource utilization patterns.
