    Abstract: A material handling system incorporating an air operated scissors lift mounted on an air bearing pallet to move heavy or cumbersome loads. On top of the upper platform is a second air bearing pallet channelled so it can move in a guided path for use with a transition plate for transferring, loading and unloading heavy loads onto or from a truck bed or from a shelf or rack especially designed to support and handle heavy loads.
