  • Patent number: 4647096
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for gripping electronic parts, particularly IC's with a pincer grip of which the gripping jaws are moveable towards and away from one another. Its object is to design the device so that the dimensions of the pincer grip can be adapted at will to those of the part to be gripped, without the need for exchanging the grip. This is achieved by dividing the pincer grip into a plurality of pincer sections arranged in a row, at least one of the sections being moveable in a first guide between a retracted stand-by position and an advanced operating position.

  • Patent number: 4635794
Abstract: A magazine for IC's, in which the invention is carried out by the use of a deflectable spring element which is arranged at the end of the IC rod-magazine, and which, in its undeflected position, closes the opening of the magazine chamber at least to such an extent that IC's, contained in the magazine chamber, are blocked at the opening, and which, when it has deflected against spring tension, allows IC's to come out.

  • Patent number: 4314402
Abstract: A device for assembling printed circuit boards with an optical illuminating system for illumination of the holes in the printed circuit board into which components are to be installed. The optical system, or a mirror forming a portion thereof, is arranged, on a pantograph linkage for example, so as to be maneuverable above and parallel to the circuit board. The optical system is provided with specially mounted shutters which can be moved specified amounts to direct the light to precise selected locations on the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4277660
Abstract: An adjustable footrest that can be set to any height, angular orientation and horizontal position and then locked by manipulation of a locking lever. The locking lever rotates to turn and release various clamping arrangements to permit free adjustment of the footrest.

  • Patent number: 4274196
Abstract: An improved assembly table for assembling conductor boards wherein integrated circuits to be inserted on the boards are conveyed by trays automatically and in a synchronized manner from a rotatable magazine to the conductor boards. The integrated circuits are contained in predetermined arrangement in the magazine and are picked up one at a time by a transfer means and each integrated circuit is deposited in an associated tray with a recess shaped to accept the integrated circuit. This arrangement permits safe direct picking up of the integrated circuits with assembly tongs within short reach of the conductor boards.

  • Patent number: 4256220
Abstract: A component insertion table for wiring boards in which an endless chain belt carries component pickup trays along the table top. The chain is formed in two loops each having one portion extending one over the other in different planes and each having a second portion in the same plane but separated laterally from each other. This arrangement permits a large number of pickup trays to be carried on a given size table.

  • Patent number: 4215610
Abstract: A foil perforating apparatus of the type wherein perforation locations on a large master pattern are transferred via a reduced motion system, such as a pantograph, to corresponding locations on a transparency foil to be punched. A foil punching device is carried on the reduced motion system. Accuracy of punching is achieved by a clamping means on the reduced motion system which is electrically interlocked with the foil punch to achieve clamping prior to punching.

  • Patent number: 4157048
Abstract: A cutting knife used to trim the leads of electrical components which extend through a printed circuit board during manufacture of the board. The knife is made up of a plurality of adjacent knife sections separately resiliently biased against the underside of the board and freely pivotally and tiltably movable over a limited range.
