  • Publication number: 20060112531
Abstract: A method for assembly of a planetary gear unit of a planetary transmission comprising a planetary gear, a planet shaft which, on a shoulder between a pivot and an outer wall, has an indented ring with a bearing situated between the planetary gear and the planet shaft and two thrust discs for the planetary gear. One tool is used which has two dies displaceable coaxially with the planet shaft. The method comprises the step of alignment and stretching the planetary gear unit to a medium positional zero play tolerance; positively fixing the aligned position on the guide plates of the planet carrier, and squeezing the pivot of the planet shaft to a predetermined measure. The planetary gear unit is aligned and stretched to medium positional zero play tolerance exclusively via the tool.

  • Patent number: 6773233
Abstract: A process of manufacturing a component for a hydrodynamic machine in which the component comprises a base body (16) and a plurality of blades (8) which are to be installed on the base body (16). The process comprises the steps of installing the plurality of blades (8) on the base body (16) by a shaped fitted connection with the base body (16) by applying continuous pressure against the base body (16) and using a prefabricated torus as the base body (16). The prefabricated torus is pressed by a pressure roller (20) against the plurality of blades (8) while holding the plurality of blades (8) in a device (4) against the pressure of the pressure roller (20). A component for a hydrodynamic machine, comprising a base body (16) and a plurality blades (8) installed by the inventive process, is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6729199
Abstract: The invention concerns an apparatus for torque transmission and axial securing of a first (24) and a second (26) torque conducting component. The apparatus has the form of a ring shaped component (20), which possesses along its circumference projections (22) which are spaced from one another and which are insertable in such a manner in the spaces between projections (28) of the second component (26) which lies on a surface (30) of the first component (24), that the sides of the projections (22) which face the surface (30) of the first component (24) can be affixed to the first component (24).

  • Patent number: 6663531
Abstract: The method for precise position assembling a planetary gear unit consisting of a planetary gear, a planet shaft, a bearing, two thrust washers and two guide washers, especially for use in a planetary transmission for an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle consists in that the planetary gear unit is inserted within mean position tolerance, aligned and braced in a tool which tool has two displaceable stamps and two jaws with indented rings which jaws surround the stamps forming a ring and can be displaced independently of the stamps. By closing the tool, the indented rings clamp the guide washers until a constant pressure is exerted against them. The stamps are pressed against the ends of the planet shaft until they are forged.

  • Patent number: 6212930
Abstract: For producing stamped parts, especially plates, a method is proposed consisting of only two method steps. In a first method step the workpiece is fine blanked (2) inside a device (1) is then moved to a stamping stage (3) by means of transfer tongs (4) which are likewise housed in the device (1). The stamping stage (3) is also located inside the device (1). In a second method step, the inner and outer contours are stamped on the workpiece (5) in the stamping stage (3) in a manner such that the burrs produced on the workpiece (5) during the first step are removed.
