According to the invention, a drill bit (2) fastened to drilling rods (3) makes a drilled hole (1). A number of, in particular, wedge-shaped spreading elements (7) oriented contrary to the direction of drilling (6) are provided in a part joined to the drill bit (2). These spreading elements can be introduced into the wall of the drilled hole (1) after the drilled hole (1) is completed whereby making it possible to obtain a secure anchoring immediately after the drilled hole (1) has been completed.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 26, 2006Publication date: May 28, 2009Inventors: Walter Karpellus, Alfred Wagner, Karl Bohm

Patent number: 7496458Abstract: An electrical transducer has a sensor outputting a value corresponding to the quantity to be measured, an analog end stage connected downstream of the sensor, a processor circuit, and an analog measurement signal transmission path. The end stage converts the sensor output signal into an impressed output current related to the magnitude of the quantity measured, the electronic transducer being controlled with the processor circuit. The electrical transducer can be scaled by the user, has low inherent power consumption and ensures high response speed because the processor circuit in normal operation is shifted temporarily into a sleep mode, in the analog measurement signal transmission path an analog scaling unit is inserted, the output signal of the sensor and at least one analog setting value are supplied to the analog scaling unit, and the output signal of the analog scaling unit is supplied to the analog end stage.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 2002Date of Patent: February 24, 2009Assignee: i f m electronic GmbHInventors: Heinz Walter, Alfred Wagner

Publication number: 20080176147Abstract: The present technology relates generally to laser ablation, and more particularly pertains to a system and method for eliminating structure and edge roughness, which is produced during the laser ablation of a material. Ablation of materials using a femtosecond laser beam produces a fine scale periodic structure in the ablated region. The structure consists of residual (i.e. unablated material) and is always perpendicular to the polarization direction of the laser beam. By changing the polarization direction during the ablation process, the structure is averaged over many directions and thus eliminated. This eliminates structure and edge roughness in a material caused by the laser ablation of the material. The method is employed to the repairing of photomasks so as to cause the optical quality thereof to be improved.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 18, 2007Publication date: July 24, 2008Applicant: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventor: Alfred Wagner

Patent number: 7211300Abstract: An element is deposited by flowing a gas through a solid donor compound that includes the element, and over a substrate. The flow of gas deposits a film of a few monolayers of donor compound on the substrate. An optical radiation source (e.g., a femtosecond laser) which produces optical radiation at an instantaneous intensity sufficient to cause non linear or otherwise enhanced interaction between optical radiation photons and the donor compound is used to decompose the donor compound and deposit the metal on the substrate. After an initial deposit of the donor compound is produced, optical radiation can be absorbed and heat the substrate in the localized area of the deposit in order to accelerate the deposition process by thermally decomposing the donor compound.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2003Date of Patent: May 1, 2007Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Richard A.
