  • Publication number: 20210329909
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an organ supporting device and a manufacturing system thereof. The organ supporting device includes a tube with a one or more bends to create two supporting regions for an organ. The supporting regions are connected via a connecting region. The tube is supplied with temperature control material, such as a cooling fluid, by a circulation component. The temperature of the organ and fluid are sensed by one or more sensors and the sensed temperatures are provided to a temperature control unit to increase or decrease the temperature of the temperature control material to maintain a temperature of an organ for in-vivo or ex-vivo surgical procedures.

  • Patent number: 8862017
Abstract: An acoustic cavity conditions the air flowing from a blower to reduce noise in the airflow. The air flowing directly out of the blower exhibits pulses produced by each impeller blade or fan blade. The airflow noise is thereby induced at certain frequencies. Printing operations inside a printer can also occur at specific frequencies. Introducing the airflow directly into certain areas of a printer can result in the noise frequencies and printing frequencies to combine and produce noticeable printing artifacts. An acoustic cavity tuned to dampen the airflow noise can condition the airflow and eradicate the printing artifacts.

  • Publication number: 20050180772
Abstract: An electrophotographic marking device includes a xerographic marking module and an environmental control module which controls temperature and relative humidity inside the marking module. The environmental module has a main plenum chamber and a divided or split plenum chamber to create and supply two air streams with different temperatures and/or different humidities and/or different airflow volumes and/or airflow rates to a marking engine. A primary air stream plenum chamber is closed loop controlled by input from one or more temperature and/or humidity sensors in the xerographic module. A secondary air stream plenum chamber is open loop controlled by means of one or more temperature and/or humidity sensors in one or mode developer housings. Heating of the secondary air stream is achieved by heat generated in the developer housing(s) and/or one or more heaters distinct from the developer unit elements. The system achieves balanced, thermodynamically adjusted, air flows.

  • Publication number: 20050084280
Abstract: An apparatus for developing a latent image recorded on a movable imaging surface, including: a reservoir for storing a supply of developer material including toner particles, the reservoir including a developer material mixing and transport area; a donor member being arranged to receive toner particles from the reservoir and to deliver toner particles to the image surface at locations spaced apart from each other in the direction of movement of the imaging surface thereby to develop the latent image thereon; and a climate system, associated with the reservoir, for maintaining the supply of developer material at a predefined temperature, the climate system includes a cooling element for supplying cool air to the developer material mixing and transport area, and a heating element positioned within air path for heating air to predefined temperature.
