Abstract: Aspects of the invention provide for a method of evaluating rules for validating, constructing, or configuring multi-level collections of business objects. In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving a request including a multi-level collection of business objects; processing each object in the collection of business objects by determining whether the object satisfies at least one rule condition and a relationship between the object and at least one other object; executing at least one rule behavior based on satisfying the at least one rule condition; and returning a response based on the processing and the executing.
