Abstract: A contoured cushion including a body constructed of memory foam material and configured with a plurality of three dimensional contoured surfaces adapted to conform to the shape of a user's head, neck, and upper shoulders for providing support to the user when supported in an upright seated position. The contoured surfaces include each of a pair of main lateral projecting portions adapted for supporting the sides of the user's head and neck, an intermediate interior portion with a contoured recess upper surface extending between the lateral portions and further adapted to supporting the base of the user's head in communication with the neck, and a pair of secondary portions extending downwardly from the interior portion and adapted to supporting the trapezius shoulder muscles of the user. The main cushion portions each further include an inner opposing recess defined by a ledge which adapts to provide clearance for the user's ears and anything supported thereto including jewelry or in-ear headphone buds.

The cushion may be constructed of a soft foam type material, such as to conform to the shape of the user's neck. Additional features include the pillow exhibiting a first decorative side (such as for displaying atop a sofa), the cushion being inserted within the pillow such that its lump or contoured side is configured to project through a reverse facing side opposite the decorative side. A strap is secured over an open top of the body. Additional variants can include a redesigned body including a main frame, an upper pivotal support secured to a first location of the main frame, with a second lower pivotal support secured to a second location.
