In one exemplary embodiment, the modularized system includes a container configured to sealingly contain hazardous waste material; a first cell, the first cell comprising a first area for manipulating the container; and a second cell, the second cell comprising a second area for manipulating the container. The second cell is isolated from the first cell. The first cell is held at a first pressure and the second cell held at a second pressure, the first pressure being less than the second pressure. An interlock couples the first cell to the second cell. The first cell, second cell and interlock are configured to allow the container to be transferred from the first cell to the second cell while maintaining at least one seal between the first cell and the second cell.

    Abstract: A direction adjustment tool for a downhole drilling apparatus is disclosed. The tool has a tubular housing adapted to be incorporated into a downhole drilling apparatus, and steering blades mounted to the housing. A drive shaft transmits drive to a drill bit of a drilling apparatus, wherein the shaft defines a passage for transmitting drilling fluid to the drill bit. A first pressure chamber is defined between the housing and the shaft and communicates with the passage, wherein the steering blades are moved from retracted positions to extended positions thereof as a result of increase of fluid pressure the first pressure chamber. A pendulum member is pivotably mounted to extend in a vertical orientation when the shaft is not rotating relative to the housing, and pistons prevent movement of at least one steering blade to the extended position thereof as a result of the angle between a longitudinal axis of the shaft and the longitudinal axis of the pendulum member exceeding a predetermined amount.

    Abstract: A laser distance and angle calculator that will give three measured distances simultaneously; for example from Point A to B, Point A to C and Point B to C. It will also calculate the angle at each intersecting points. The angle at your point of reference is required, but the other angles are calculated. The laser control is used to rotate the corresponding laser. As each laser is pointed to their respective targets, the distances to these are captured. The lasers are optionally placed adjacent to each other or one above the other. The angle between these two points are also captured. With these pieces of captured data, the distance between the two targets along with the angles formed by this triangular formation will be calculated. This data will then be displayed on the LCD. This data can be cleared and the process repeated as often as desired.
