  • Publication number: 20240155985
Abstract: An automated mushroom harvesting system for mounting to a vertical mushroom rack comprises a robot having a frame mounted to a vertical carriage assembly. A SCARA arm is slidably mounted to the vertical carriage assembly by a vertical stage, operable to move the SCARA arm along a vertical mast. The SCARA arm moves the end effector in a horizontal plane for harvesting mushrooms, above the surface of the mushroom bed and into and out of the confines of the mushroom rack, and the vertical stage moves the SCARA arm in a vertical direction so as to access the mushrooms in a bed and to access mushroom beds on different levels of the vertical mushroom rack. An end effector having a helically reinforced neck and a graduated elasticity modulus, with a lower elasticity modulus in the neck and a higher elasticity in the cup, is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240106848
Abstract: Technologies for generating a graphical user interface (GUI) dashboard with a three-dimensional (3D) grid of unit cells are described. An anomaly statistic can be determined for a set of records. A subset of network address identifiers can be identified and sorted according to the anomaly statistic. The subset can have higher anomaly statistics than other network address identifiers. There can be a maximum number in the subset. The GUI dashboard is generated with unit cells organized by the subset of network address identifiers as rows, time intervals as columns, colors as a configurable anomaly score indicator, and a number of network access events as column heights. Each unit cell is a colored, 3D visual object representing a composite score of anomaly scores associated with zero or more network access events corresponding to the respective network address identifier at the respective time interval. The GUI dashboard is rendered on a display.

  • Patent number: 11795646
Abstract: A system for reducing contaminants in body of water is shown and described. The system has a first land mass located within a body of water. A sediment trap, located on the floor of the body of water, is configured to collect sediment. Enclosed within the first land mass is a tussock mass area, surrounding a central area, and configured for collecting sediment and building a second land mass. The central area of the system is configured for removing contaminants from sediment. Sediment is moved from the sediment trap to the central area by a first ingress conduit and a pumping system. Filtered water migrates from the central area to outside the first land mass via an egress conduit; contaminated sediment is sequestered in the central area enclosed by the tussock mass area.

  • Patent number: 10267089
Abstract: A coupling may be used to couple a top drive to a traveling block in a drilling rig. The coupling comprises a beam that is movable between a retracted configuration in which a becket or bail may be passed behind the beam to a closed configuration in which the beam is linked behind the becket or bail. The beam may include a compound curvature contact area that mates with a corresponding contact area of the becket or bail. The coupling may be remotely actuated.

  • Publication number: 20070074874
Abstract: A saver sub assembly has a body capable of coupling with a quill, and a split ring capable of coupling with the quill and the body and capable of keeping the quill and body together. The body has splines to prevent relative rotation between the quill and the body. The body may be hollow, and/or have a split ring retainer to maintain the position of the split ring. The saver sub assembly may also have one or more O-rings positioned between the body and the quill. The body of the saver sub assembly may have a threaded pin for engaging a drill string.

  • Publication number: 20030177627
Abstract: A positioning tool for repositioning adjacent objects in mutually spaced, coplanar relation, such as the ends of a so-called endless belt or chain, is used to facilitate their coupling/uncoupling. The tool has a fixed head portion for attachment to one end of the belt or chain, and a travelling portion for attachment to the other end that is to be repositioned, with parallel links to maintain the fixed and the travelling heads parallel. The gripping heads may be replaceable. A threaded jacking bolt connects the fixed and moving tool portions and applies the required jacking force. For rubber belts the attaching claws are inclined at about 22 degrees from the normal, to ensure grip and to avoid belt delamination. A range of tool widths and types may include provision for use as a wheel or pulley puller.

  • Publication number: 20030079884
Abstract: A well casing system is disclosed for the handling and make-up of casing on a drilling rig in conjunction with a top drive is disclosed. The system comprises a top drive, a casing make-up assembly, links, link tilts, and transfer and lifting elevators. The operator can remotely manipulate the elevators to pick up and position a joint of casing above the casing already secured in the drilling hole. The operator can then engage the gripper head and use the rotational capability of the top drive to remotely couple the two joints of casing together.

  • Patent number: 4951759
Abstract: This invention provides an oil well drilling or service rig having inclined capability with pipe handling means which will automatically retrieve pipe from a horizontal pipe rack, tilt it into a position parallel to the mast, and transpose it into the center line of the mast in line with the drill string and stab the pipe into the drill string for make-up while the elevators are being moved into position to lower the string. The pipe handler can also be used to withdraw pipe from the string in the reverse operation.
