  • Patent number: 7543791
Abstract: A vibration isolation system couples two resonant systems to provide isolation of transverse vibrational motions. The first system incorporates a plurality of tunable inverse pendulum assemblies. The second system incorporates a table of large mass suspended at several points from the inverse pendulum assemblies. The table is further suspended from the pendulum assemblies at each point via an assembly to isolate vertical vibrational motion.

  • Patent number: 5402317
Abstract: The current invention is a method and apparatus for shock mounting an obj in a container. A container is provided having side walls to accommodate movement of the object. The container is filled with a fluid having substantially the same density as the object to be shock mounted. The object is mounted in the container by a plurality of shock mounts. In accordance with the apparatus, a container is provided with an incompressible fluid therein. The object to be shock mounted is immersed in the fluid and suspended at an equilibrium position in the fluid filled container. The object can be a circuit board or some other similarly delicate device.

  • Patent number: 4010663
Abstract: A hand tool for a variety of tools such as Allen wrenches, screw drivers, Philips drivers, twist drills, taps, etc. A multiplicity of tools, or different sized tools, are mounted on a single tool handle. The cylindrical handle is provided with a central axial socket member having a central axial opening. Extending from the front edge rearwardly, the handle has a plurality of circumferentially spaced, parallel, grooves. Each tool comprises a base portion adapted to fit into the axial opening of the socket member. Various methods may be used to lock the tool against rotation, such as five or six sides, tapers, keyways, etc. The elongated tool member extends axially from the base portion. Each base portion is mounted in a loop holder which is hinged on a short wire support having elongated spaced parallel wire arms extending at right angles from the short wire portion. Each tool is mounted in its groove by inserting the elongated wire arms into the groove.
