  • Patent number: 11891791
Abstract: Precast concrete residences resist great hurricane wind forces and moderate seismic forces. The entire residential structure, excluding the slab on grade are made from plant-cast concrete panels. Foundation panel joints are designed at the center of the precast wall panels to assure proper load-distribution from the walls to the foundation. Using a precast foundation greatly increases the speed of construction. All structural elements are field-bolted together. An interior wall track design allows engineered, prefabricated interior wall panels to roll into the home and “tip up” into place without wedging between the floor and ceiling.

  • Patent number: 11642638
Abstract: A pump for high viscosity materials is mounted on a rectangular frame that fits through a standard doorway. Quick detach latches allow removal of the grate, the hopper or the console, including the control box, from the frame for safer and lighter transportation of the pump. Extendable handles facilitate lifting, moving, and storing the pump. Pivotable wheels with locking mechanisms allows the pump to be moved in any direction by a single user.

  • Publication number: 20220118470
Abstract: A portable water batching system for mixing fireproofing coatings. A controller allows the user to pre-set the volume of a batch of water to be dispensed into the mixer for the fireproofing coating. The water batching system can also be used in conjunction with an acid/activator injection system that allows an acid solution to be introduced to the fireproofing coating slurry prior to reaching the spray gun used for application. The water batching system and acid injection system can be used in tandem with a system that proportionally controls the amount of acid solution pumped from the acid injection system to the amount of fluid pumped from the water batching system. The systems can each be equipped with data sensors to allow for recording of information for each batch of fireproofing coating.

  • Publication number: 20180233947
Abstract: In some examples, a method includes determining, with an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), a power state of the UPS; determining, with the UPS, a power state of a device attached to the UPS; determining, with the UPS, whether an action to modify an operating state of the device attached to the UPS should be initiated based on the determined power state of the UPS and the power state of the device attached to the UPS; and initiating, with the UPS, the action to modify the operating state of the device attached to the UPS when it is determined by the UPS that the action should be initiated.

  • Patent number: 6189039
Abstract: A method and system for “selective” tunneling of streaming data from a server to a client in a computer network having one or more network segments. The server has a tunneler utility, and the client has a receiver utility. The receiver utility first attempts to detect if a given data stream is available via IP multicast on the network segment supporting the client. If not, then the receiver utility issues a request for a IP unicast stream. This request is serviced by the tunneler utility. The tunneler utility re-broadcasts the IP multicast feed using IP unicast to send the data stream directly to the requesting user and/or to a repeater utility. The receiver utility then receives and processes the data stream for output to the end user. Alternatively, the receiver application, or a network administrator, launches the repeater utility, which then converts the IP unicast stream back to IP multicast format for re-broadcast over the network segment to other clients.

  • Patent number: 6055560
Abstract: An interactive video system supports functions typically expected with a VCR such as play, pause, fast forward and rewind. A set top box is coupled to a display terminal and a first interface. The set top box includes a memory for storing an operating system in set top enabling codes. A video dial tone network includes a control channel and a data channel coupled to a second interface linked to the first interface. A first gateway controls establishment of a video session between a video server and the display terminal. A second gateway establishes connection between the video server and the set top box over a data channel in response to an input from the first gateway. An application server coupled to the first gateway and the video server contains executable code for transferring video data, video and audio information from the video server to the display terminal.

  • Patent number: 6027038
Abstract: An apparatus and method for pumping high viscosity mixtures, for example silicone-aggregate mixtures, including a pump and a hose, wherein the hose is impermeable, nonadherent with the mixture, and resistant to swelling, and the pump and the hose are sealable. In preferred embodiments, the apparatus and method can include a metering mechanism for dispensing the mixture to the pump, an agitator for mixing the mixture before it enters the pump, and a spray nozzle for applying the mixture exiting the hose. Even more preferred embodiments can include a metering mechanism in the form of a variable speed auger screw, a hose internally lined with a coating of polytetrafluoroethylene, a hose structurally reinforced, and a pump and hose that are individually sealable.
