  • Patent number: 11771004
Abstract: A mower includes a cutting deck supporting a cutting blade having a fixed blade sail and a door having a first position in which the door covers an opening through which grass clippings can pass, and a second position in which the door does not cover the opening. The mower also has a switch configured to send a mode signal indicating that the door is in the first position or the second position. The mower also has a controller configured to receive the mode signal and adjust the cutting blade to rotate at a first speed when the mode signal indicates that the door is in the first position, and a second speed when the mode signal indicates that the door is in the second position. • Patent number: 10795845
Abstract: An auto addressing scheme comprised of a central/master module and satellite/slave devices on a communication bus such as CAN that individually wakes the satellite devices alerting them when to listen to the CAN bus to receive their address, eliminating the need for a separate bus for auto addressing. The wake function is handled by low side n-channel MOSFET switches with current limiting resistors to protect the circuit against short to battery conditions and a voltage divider to step down the voltage to levels tolerable for a microcontroller input.

  • Patent number: 10235680
Abstract: System and methods for populating a database with information from users. A memory stores reference standards, reference keywords, and rules for the reference keywords. An on-line survey question relating to the product/service is presented to the users. Input is received from the users in response to the presented survey question and has content. The received input is stored in the database. A quantity of the content of the received input and a quality of the content of the received input is evaluated.

  • Patent number: 9700452
Abstract: A patient support system for a wheelchair is provided. At least a portion of the patient support system components form a no-air-loss patient support surface. At least one fluid pump can supply air pressure to a plurality of no-air-loss air cells, and at least one pressure release valve can release air pressure from the no-air-loss air cells. A computer can compare air pressure within the air cells to a desired air pressure set point and can modulate the air pressure by actuating the at least one fluid pump and/or the at least one pressure release valve to bring the air pressure within the air cells to a desired air pressure. After the initial air pressure adjustments are made and the desired air pressure is achieved, no further adjustments during the operation are able to be made by the computer so that the patient positioned thereon the patient support system will not be moved by the patient support system during an operation.

  • Patent number: 9091638
Abstract: The present invention is related generally to the field of non-destructive materials testing using ultrasonic devices, more particularly, ultrasonic devices in a phased array and includes a wedge for conducting pitch-catch ultrasonic phase array testing of materials wherein the wedge includes a liquid column and is manufactured with specific angles so as to control the angle at which the ultrasonic waves pass into the wedge and then are refracted when passing from the liquid in the liquid column into the material being analyzed, thus providing a wider range of analysis via sweeping the beams from the wedge than was possible with known wedges.

  • Patent number: 8107741
Abstract: An apparatus for a response time compensation system includes a plurality of complexity modules and a motion vector module. The complexity modules determine a plurality of complexity values based on current image information and prior image information. The motion vector module determines a desired complexity value based on a lowest of complexity values. The motion vector determines a desired motion vector based on the lowest of the plurality of complexity values. The desired complexity value and the desired motion vector are used to compress the current image information into a compressed bitstream. The compressed bitstream is used by the response time compensation system to provide display element response time compensation information for a display.
