  • Publication number: 20210291130
Abstract: A fluid injection system is a system that enables the automatic mixing and dispensing of select additives to desired output locations. The system may include at least one supply line, at least one pumping mechanism, at least one injection assembly, and a base controller. The at least one supply line carries the supply flow from a supply source for the mixing and the distribution of the selected additives to the desired output locations. The at least one pumping mechanism facilitates the injection of the additives to the supply flow being carried by the at least one supply line. The at least one injection assembly enables the introduction of the combined additives into the supply flow via the at least one pumping mechanism. Finally, the base controller monitors the injection of the right amounts of additives as well as the correct combination of the additives being injected into the supply flow.

  • Patent number: 11092117
Abstract: A system and method of providing HHO gas to an internal combustion engine in a vehicle involves providing a liquid electrolyte solution to at least one HHO generator including an HHO generating structure having a plurality of parallel plates suspended in a fluid compartment. Residual electrolyte solution is separated from the HHO gas output by the HHO generator, and a quantity of the HHO gas is stored in a pressure tank at a pressure level exceeding an ambient atmospheric pressure. The HHO gas is selectively delivered to an intake side of the internal combustion engine by a valve structure coupled to the pressure tank, which is controlled at least in part by a throttle signal of the internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 8257816
Abstract: A sign (20) for viewing by persons in a traffic area accessible by the random passage of persons through the area, the sign (20) including a label (22) formed of a thin layer of plastic material upon which the subject matter of the desired sign is printed. A planar substrate (24) of molded material is fused to the label (22). The planar substrate (24) includes a mounting feature (26) adapted to secure the sign (20) to a second object. During manufacture, an injection device (46) and ejector system (50) are associated with a first sign mold portion, a label is placed in a second sign mold portion, the first and second sign mold portions are closed together during injection, and the previously formed sign is removed from the first sign mold portion via the ejector system (50) prior to closing the mold portions together.

  • Patent number: 7985364
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an injection molded product. Thermoplastic is injected through a runner system and into a gate member. The gate member is generally V-shaped and thermoplastic is displaced through the gate into a mold cavity at a nearly perpendicular angle to the surface of the indicia carrier to hold the indicia carrier against the mold cavity. This allows the indicia carrier to be fused to the thermoplastic body during the making of a product.

  • Publication number: 20110015401
Abstract: One aspect of the invention relates to a metal-catalyzed conversion of aryl halides and sulfonates to the corresponding aryl fluorides. Another aspect of the invention relates to a metal-catalyzed conversion of heteroaryl halides and sulfonates to the corresponding heteroaryl fluorides. Another aspect of the invention relates to a metal-catalyzed conversion of vinyl halides and sulfonates to the corresponding vinyl fluorides. In certain embodiments, simple fluoride sources, such as AgF and CsF, are used. In certain embodiments, the transformations tolerate a wide range of functional groups, allowing for introduction of fluorine atoms into highly functionalized organic molecules.

  • Patent number: 6810905
Abstract: An overflow protection device includes a valve body having an inlet conduit passing vertically therethrough. The inlet conduit includes an outlet end below a valve chamber. A valve within the valve chamber is movable between and open and closed position. A float is pivotally mounted below the valve and the float cams, an actuator upwardly when the float experiences a less than full tank and cams the actuation downwardly to permit the valve to move downwardly when the float rises to a predetermined level as it floats on the liquid within the tank.
