    Abstract: An adjustable insulating window is disclosed comprising two glass sheets separated by and bonded to a bonding strand which is positioned inward relative to the peripheral edge surface of each of the glass sheets. A groove is formed along the peripheral edge surface of the window by the bonding strand and the peripheral edge of the two glass sheets, into which groove a profile strip is placed flush with at least one glass sheet and fastened by the bonding strand.
