  • Publication number: 20170080225
Abstract: A system and method for treatment using electrical stimulation is described. The electrical stimulation system includes a platform supporting a plurality of electrical conductor handles and a control module. The handles are rigidly coupled to the platform and extend away from a surface. The control module provides a first method of regulating electrical power between the handles. Adjustment of pressure and surface area contact with a conductive matter provides a secondary method and instantaneous electrical power adjustment. Current is passed through conductive matter between the handles. An optional porous compressible member is used to aid in providing satisfactory contact with the conductive matter.

  • Patent number: 7029014
Abstract: A vehicle stability control system is provided, which includes a movable tongue member and a ratchet mechanism. The movable tongue member is adapted to move between a first tongue position and a second tongue position. The ratchet mechanism is adapted to be mechanically coupled to a movable unsprung mass portion and to a sprung mass portion of a vehicle when the vehicle stability control system is operably installed on the vehicle. The ratchet mechanism comprising a ratchet tooth, such that the ratchet mechanism is adapted to restrict a movement of the unsprung mass portion away from the sprung mass portion when the tongue member is moved toward the second tongue position and into the ratchet tooth, and wherein the tongue member does not restrict the movement of the unsprung mass portion relative to the sprung mass portion when the tongue member is in the first tongue position.

  • Patent number: 5277489
Abstract: A portable system for on-site batch mixing of cementitious materials, such as mortar and grout, includes a batch mixing machine for metering and mixing cement, sand and water, a cement storage silo sized to hold at least one commercial delivery truckload of cement, and a pair of sand supporting ground pads. The large cement storage silo significantly reduces the manpower and equipment costs associated with the overall batch mixing process, and the sand support pads operate to prevent dirt contamination of the cementitious mixture. A specially designed pressurized shaft bearing/seal structure provided on the batch mixer portion of the mixing machine reduces grease seal and bearing maintenance by essentially precluding entry of cementitious material into the seal and bearing. The pressurized system utilizes either a spring or air under pressure to establish a higher pressure in the grease supply than that in the mortar.

The large cement storage silo significantly reduces the manpower and equipment costs associated with the overall batch mixing process, and the sand support pads operate to prevent dirt contamination of the cementitious mixture. The water storage portion is provided with a simplified, floatless fill level control system and an improved water heating system which significantly reduces water temperature stratification. A specially designed pressurized shaft bearing/seal structure provided on the batch mixer portion of the mixing machine reduces grease and seal maintenance and functions to essentially preclude entry of cementitious material into the shaft bearing.

  • Patent number: 5149192
Abstract: A system which includes method and apparatus for the delivery of cementitious materials to a construction site using a transportable machine, a truck with an extensible crane, a containment frame, and transport cement silos that are carried by the truck and used to replenish cement. The machine has a frame with extensible legs and includes a cement storage and conveyor means having an agitator to assure the delivery of cement of uniform consistency to a batch mixer that has arms to rotate mix in a rotational loop. A water storage and conveyor means utilizes a constant head of water, a solenoid operated valve and a manually operated adjustment means to assure the delivery of water at a uniform flow rate to the batch mixer means. Sand of uniform density and consistency is delivered by a belt conveyor having a compression plate to compress the sand to a uniform density.

  • Patent number: 3983630
Abstract: The specification discloses a navigational charting and calculating device comprising a base plate having a circular recess in its top side for rotatably supporting a disc therein. The disc comprises a transparent circular member having a top marking surface, and a circular base adapted to removably support the transparent circular member for holding and securing a map therebetween. The peripheral edge of the transparent circular member is graduated in degrees from 0.degree. to 360.degree.. Sliding means having at least one straight edge is supported above the disc for sliding movement across the disc in a direction perpendicular to the length of its straight edge. The straight edge has equally spaced marks along its length representative of distance. In use, the disc is rotated to align the desired direction of travel in degrees with a reference point provided on the base plate and distance of travel in the desired direction is charted with the aid of the straight edge.
