Publication number: 20240081719Abstract: Described herein are methods, systems, and computer-readable storage media for automated detection of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Techniques include providing stimuli to a user to activate a plurality of brain regions representing an attention network by displaying information with a first condition that causes a reaction and a second condition as an exception to the first condition. Techniques further include retrieving a plurality of signals from the plurality of brain regions for each of the stimuli, wherein each signal of the plurality of signals is accessed over a period of time that starts when the information is displayed and ends when the reactions of the user are captured. Further, the attention deficit detection system evaluates the signals to detect ADHD based on the level of connectivity within the attention network when each signal of the plurality of signals corresponds to the one or more stimuli.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2022Publication date: March 14, 2024Applicant: BITSPHI DIAGNOSIS SLInventors: Álvaro Medrano López, Miguel Blanco Carmona, Fernando Maestú Unturbe

Patent number: 11788014Abstract: A high temperature paraffinic froth treatment (HTPFT) process utilizes an unheated flash vessel as a first stage of solvent recovery in a paraffinic solvent recovery unit (PSRU) to minimize asphaltene precipitation and fouling in subsequent stages of solvent recovery. The HTPFT may utilize a heat pump circuit for heat integration in the PSRU where a first stage of solvent recovery is at a lower temperature than a second stage of solvent recovery. Froth entering froth separation vessels can be heated using heat in a tailings stream using a heat pump. Froth separation vessels used to separate froth for collecting a bitumen-containing overflow utilize a collector pot and conventional feedwell combination, or a combination of a collection ring and nozzle arrangement for reducing disturbance in the vessel and improving collection of the overflow.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2021Date of Patent: October 17, 2023Assignee: CANADIAN NATURAL RESOURCES LIMITEDInventors: William Nicholas Garner, Alvaro Blanco, Guillaume Viguie, Randy Paine, Jiangying Wu, Julio Gomez, Eduardo Fernandez, Matthew Armour

Patent number: 9637686Abstract: Disclosed is a method for improving a heavy hydrocarbon, such as mined bitumen, to a lighter more fluid product and, more specifically, to a hydrocarbon product that is refinery-ready and that meets pipeline transport criteria without requiring the addition of diluent. The invention is suitable for enhancing recovery from mined Canadian bitumen, but has general application for processing any heavy hydrocarbon, converting the heavy hydrocarbon to a product that is more suitable for pipeline transport.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2014Date of Patent: May 2, 2017Assignee: CANADIAN NATURAL RESOURCES LIMITEDInventors: Darius Simon John Remesat, Alvaro Blanco

Publication number: 20070165250Abstract: One method embodiment executes a director. The director invokes at least one “active stamp” when processing data, where each of the active stamps relates to a different data manipulation method. The active stamps comprise specialized, portable and dynamic logic processes generically applicable to a plurality of different directors such that each of the active stamps can be individually invoked by each of the different directors to perform the same operation for each of the different directors. The invoking of the active stamps by the director calls the active stamps from a resource in a structure that allows each of the different directors to individually access each of the active stamps that correspond to a current data manipulation process being invoked by each of the different directors. Because the director calls the active stamps at run time of the processing of the data, the active stamps avoid having to be compiled with the director.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 18, 2006Publication date: July 19, 2007Inventor: Alvaro Blanco
