Abstract: Combinations of sunscreens comprising at least one specific anti uv-B filter with triazinoaniline structure and at least one specific anti UV-A filter selected from filters with benzoxazol substituted triazinoaniline structure and a long chain alkyl ester of a benzoxazolyl-aminophenyl-cyanoacrylic acid. Cosmetic and dermatological compositions containing them, optionally in combination with vitamins and/or other anti UV-A and anti UV-B filters.

Abstract: Cosmetic compositions containing sunscreens against sun radiation ranging from 280 to 380 nm, and their use for the protection of the skin from UV radiation. The sunscreens comprise, with respect to the weight of the composition:a) from 1 to 10% of one or more compounds of formula (I) ##STR1## wherein Q is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy and G is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl; andb) from 0.5 to 10% of one or more compounds of formula (II): ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl and R.sub.2 is hydrogen or an SO.sub.3 M group wherein M is hydrogen, an alkali metal, or a mono- or polyalkyl-substituted ammonium group;with the condition that the weight ratio between the compounds of formula (II) and the compounds of formula (I) is at least 0.5.

Abstract: It is disclosed a solution consisting of from 15 to 60% by weight of a compound of formula (I) ##STR1## and from 40 to 85% by weight of at least an ester of formula (II)A-(COO-B).sub.n (II)wherein:n is the number 1 or 2;A, when n is 1, is a C.sub.6 -C.sub.20 straight or branched alkyl group, phenyl, optionally substituted with one or more C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 straight or branched alkyl groups, hydroxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 straight or branched alkoxy, or when n is 2, A is a saturated or unsaturated C.sub.2 -C.sub.12 alkylene chain, optionally substituted with one or more hydroxy groups or A is a phenylene group,B is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.18 straight or branched alkyl group; C.sub.5 -C.sub.12 cycloalkyl optionally substituted with one or more C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 straight or branched alkyl groups. Said solution is useful for the preparation of sun protecting cosmetic compositions as well as for their stabilization against photoinduced degradation.
