    Abstract: An incubator is described which uses a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) as a heat pump in order to provide a stable temperature environment in the infant chamber. Use of a TEC allows a preselected temperature to be maintained in a large range of ambient temperatures during transport, with improved operating efficiency.
