    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for controlling a wind turbine and a wind turbine with a control device for controlling a wind turbine. One object of the present invention is to develop a method and a wind turbine of the kind initially specified so that losses of yield, particularly as a result of variations in the conversion of the kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy, i.e. in the rotor, drive train and generator, are minimised as far as possible. A method for controlling a wind turbine, characterised in that at least one operational setting is varied within predefined limits.
