A client application installation procedure is utilized to install a client application on a computing device that is to be utilized as an authentication factor for the MFA service. A computing device enrollment procedure is utilized to enroll the computing device on which the client application was installed for the MFA service. A voice enrollment procedure is utilized to create a voice print for the user of the computing device that is to be utilized as an authentication factor for the MFA service. An authentication procedure is utilized to provide multi-factor authenticated access to a service, such as an online service that provides access to sensitive account information.

Abstract: Voice enabled dialog with web pages is provided. An Internet address of a web page is received including an area with which a user of a client device can specify information. The web page is loaded using the received Internet address of the web page. A task structure of the web page is then extracted. An abstract representation of the web is then generated. A dialog script, based on the abstract representation of the web page is then provided. Spoken information received from the user is converted into text and the converted text is inserted into the area.

Abstract: A method, system and computer readable medium that generates a dialog model for use in automated dialog is disclosed. The method may include collecting a plurality of task-oriented dialog interactions between users and human agents for a given domain, identifying one or more task in each dialog interaction, identifying one or more subtasks in each identified task and associating relations between the subtasks, identifying a dialog act and a set of predicate-argument relations for each subtask, generating one or more clauses from the set of predicate-argument relations, storing the tasks, subtasks, dialog acts predicate-argument relations, and clauses from each dialog interaction as a dialog interaction set, generating a dialog management model using the stored dialog interaction sets.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for intelligent caching of concatenative speech units for use in speech synthesis. A system configured to practice the method can identify a speech synthesis context, and determine, based on a local cache of text-to-speech units for a text-to-speech voice and based on the speech synthesis context, additional text-to-speech units which are not in the local cache. The system can request from a server the additional text-to-speech units, and store the additional text-to-speech units in the local cache. The system can then synthesize speech using the text-to-speech units and the additional text-to-speech units in the local cache. The system can prune the cache as the context changes, based on availability of local storage, or after synthesizing the speech. The local cache can store a core set of text-to-speech units associated with the text-to-speech voice that cannot be pruned from the local cache.

Abstract: A method of generating a summary review of an entity from a set of reviews includes generating a distribution and determining a polarity of the distribution associated with a plurality of aspect ratings based on the set of reviews. The set of reviews are associated with the entity, and the plurality of aspect ratings are associated with an aspect, or feature, of the entity. The method includes selecting an opinion correlated with the polarity from the set of reviews, and generating the summary review, the summary review comprising: a summary statement based on the distribution and the polarity; and the opinion. An apparatus and computer-readable device are also disclosed.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for managing vendor inventory information and shopping navigation routes based upon shopping list contents. A server computer can execute a shopping management service. A shopping list is obtained at the server computer. The server computer obtains location data indicating a geographic location of the user device and identifies, based upon the location data, a vendor having an inventory comprising the item. The server computer generates a navigation route comprising a stop at a vendor location associated with the vendor, and provides the navigation route to the user device. The server computer can monitor purchases of items on the shopping list, update the shopping list, and update the navigation route. The server computer also can provide suggestions to the user device based upon items in the shopping list.
