  • Publication number: 20240136143
Abstract: A multi-metal patterned anode for an X-ray detector is provided. The anode comprises a substrate and at least one group of disjointed circular features formed on the substrate, wherein the circular features are made from different metals. The circular features in different groups have different radii, and the circular features in the same group have the same radii. The groups of circular features are radially arrayed on the substrate. The substrate is made of diamond or beryllium.

  • Patent number: 11798844
Abstract: A method is provided for making gratings of gold or other metal in silicon substrates. The disclosed method may achieve high aspect ratios. According to the disclosed method, a silicon wafer is through-etched. A seed layer of metal is vapor-deposited on one side of the wafer, and a layer of metal is electrodeposited on the seed layer. The electrodeposited metal plugs the trenches and provides a conductive surface for subsequent electrodeposition. The trenches are then filled by electrodeposition from within the trenches, so that the walls of the metal grating grow on the metal plugs.

  • Patent number: 11549903
Abstract: A method is provided for subtractively processing a layer of etchable material formed over an electrically conductive surface region of a workpiece. The workpiece is immersed in a liquid solution, generally but not exclusively a conductive solution, that comprises an etchant for the etchable material, so that etching of the etchable material is initiated. An electric circuit is connected to include a control electrode, a reference electrode, and the electrically conductive surface region of the workpiece. The electric circuit is used to monitor the development process dynamically at each of a plurality of intervals during the etching. The etching is terminated when the electrochemical signal satisfies a criterion indicating that the etching is complete.

  • Patent number: 11151263
Abstract: A system or method for encryption of data includes a light source, a random optical element and a light detection element. The light source is arranged to transmit an input data signal to the random optical element. The light source is incident on the random optical element such that the input data signal is randomly scattered by the random optical element to generate an image at on the detector disposed at an output of the random optical element. The image received by the detector is applied to a compressive sensing algorithm to generate a transfer function. The transfer function defines a relationship between the input data signal and the image to enable estimation and reconstruction of the input data signal.

  • Patent number: 10539783
Abstract: A system or method for designing optical systems includes generating a mathematical model of an imaging system; tracing a plurality of light rays from a source through the model of the imaging system in a forward direction and a backward direction incident upon an arbitrarily defined detector location; calculating the total light rays incident upon the arbitrarily defined detector location in response to the plurality of light rays; tracing a series of calibration images first through the computational or compressive imager mathematical model; measuring an output set of parameters based on a plurality of detected rays calibration images at the defined detector location; storing the output set of parameters in software, and determining an estimated system transfer function.
