  • Publication number: 20240154741
Abstract: An apparatus for a communication device, the apparatus may include a processor configured to: obtain channel metrics for a plurality of radio communication channels, each obtained channel metric is associated with a respective radio communication channel of the plurality of radio communication channels, generate a plurality of channel hopping sequences, each channel hopping sequence is representative of an allocation of the plurality of radio communication channels for a plurality of time slots, wherein a number of time slots allocated for each radio communication channel within each channel hopping sequence is based on the respective obtained channel metric, and select one of the plurality of channel hopping sequences based on a predefined criterion to communicate with a further communication device.

  • Publication number: 20130138330
Abstract: A system and method to optimize mass transport vehicle routing based on additional ton-mile cost information are disclosed. In one embodiment, a starting location and a plurality of customer locations associated with a warehouse and a plurality of customers, respectively, are identified. Furthermore, a plurality of pairs of locations is identified using the starting location and plurality of customer locations. Mileage cost information and ton-mile cost information are then dynamically computed for each of the plurality of pairs of locations. In addition, sets of mass transport vehicle routes between the starting location and plurality of customer locations are dynamically determined using the pairs of locations and a number of vehicles to be used. Moreover, trip cost information is computed, in real-time, for each set of mass transport vehicle routes. Also, an optimized set of mass transport vehicle routes is determined, in real-time, using the trip cost information.

  • Patent number: 8370182
Abstract: A system and method for automatically assessing the process quality capability of a shipping process is disclosed. The system monitors data on a database that is being constantly updated with information about shipment requests and shipment dates for various products. From that data, a statistical calculation is performed and the results are indicated on an Internet or intranet electronic page. The statistical calculation is designed to indicate the capabilities of the current process to deliver products to customers on time.

  • Patent number: 7587513
Abstract: Network data is stored and retrieved from a network data repository configured for rapid data access and efficient usage of storage space. The network data repository includes a plurality of flow record folders. A flow record folder includes a location index and one or more circular buffers of record tables, each circular buffer corresponding to network data collected from a particular location. Network data is aggregated with more or less detail in different flow record folders, and network data in different flow record folders is retained for varying amounts of time.

  • Publication number: 20040098403
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for displaying real-time status of product availability, orders, and sales revenue. The present invention includes querying a database at regular recurring time intervals for information regarding the date a product will be ready for shipment. The number of days between the current date and the date when each product will be ready for shipment is calculated and is displayed along with the date each product will be ready for shipment. The present invention further includes one or more computer programs that when executed by one or more processors instructs the one or more processors to display real-time status of product availability. The program instructions further include populating the database with data to include a date when each product will be available for shipment.

  • Publication number: 20030074377
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for electronically reporting in real-time the status of work in progress by a computerized system. The invention provides alert notification when a customer requested shipment date falls before the date that a shipment was promised or is scheduled to be fulfilled. The invention further includes notification when the request date for shipment is near, thereby providing a highlighted alert notification to managers. The system is designed to update its data when a request is made, or automatically in real-time or on a regular basis. A proactive alert is provided to alert managers of a correctable problem for that order and a reactive alert is provided to track late shipments to prevent future late shipments.
