Abstract: An integrated tool captures institutional and expert knowledge, then stores policy exclusion rules used to evaluate and enforce legal, regulatory, business and contract policy. Rules driven intelligent user interfaces enable efficient, validated and standardized entry of both policy exclusion rules and business operations plans to increase time and cost efficiency and lower risk. A rules engine evaluates business operation plans and identifies policy exclusions that should be enforced. A management information system automates methods and integrates tools to provide a tangible, integrated system.
