  • Publication number: 20240154741
Abstract: An apparatus for a communication device, the apparatus may include a processor configured to: obtain channel metrics for a plurality of radio communication channels, each obtained channel metric is associated with a respective radio communication channel of the plurality of radio communication channels, generate a plurality of channel hopping sequences, each channel hopping sequence is representative of an allocation of the plurality of radio communication channels for a plurality of time slots, wherein a number of time slots allocated for each radio communication channel within each channel hopping sequence is based on the respective obtained channel metric, and select one of the plurality of channel hopping sequences based on a predefined criterion to communicate with a further communication device.

  • Publication number: 20160099656
Abstract: A non-isolated capacitive AC-DC conversion power supply includes a current limiting input module that receives AC input power and has an output capacitor that supplies DC power. Charge storage stages have charge storage capacitors, a rectifier supplying rectified current from the input module to charge the charge storage capacitors and the output capacitor during a first part-cycle of the AC input power. The charge storage stages also include current amplifiers and unidirectional elements that conduct discharge current from the charge storage capacitors to charge the output capacitor during a second part-cycle of the AC input power. Ground of the DC output can be connected to the live AC input.

  • Patent number: 7706362
Abstract: A method is shown for deterministically selecting an endpoint for multiple links through a network for a client device. When a first network device establishes a connection for a client device to an endpoint device, it causes a database entry to be created that is keyed by a client identifier value for the client device and includes an endpoint address field with the network address of the endpoint device. When a second network device receives a call request from the client device, it queries the database using the client identifier value for the client device and waits a predetermined period for a database reply. A database device storing the database entry receives the query from the second network device, searches for the database entry matching the client identifier value, and sends a database reply that includes the client identifier value and the network address of the endpoint device from the database entry.
