  • Patent number: 11854579
Abstract: Apparati, methods, and computer readable media for inserting identity information from a source image (static image or video) (301) into a destination video (302), while mimicking motion of the destination video (302). In an apparatus embodiment, an identity encoder (304) is configured to encode identity information of the source image (301). When source image (301) is a multi-frame static image or a video, an identity code aggregator (307) is positioned at an output of the identity encoder (304), and produces an identity vector (314). A driver encoder (313) is coupled to the destination (driver) video (302), and has two components: a pose encoder (305) configured to encode pose information of the destination video (302), and a motion encoder (315) configured to separately encode motion information of the destination video (302). The driver encoder (313) produces two vectors: a pose vector (308) and a motion vector (316).

  • Patent number: 11836905
Abstract: Apparati, methods, and computer readable media for inserting identity information from a source image (1) into a destination image (2), while mimicking illumination of the destination image (2). In an apparatus embodiment, an identity encoder (4) is configured to encode just identity information of the source image (1) and to produce an identity vector (7), where the identity encoder (4) does not encode any pose information or illumination information of the source image (1). A driver encoder (12) has two components: a pose encoder (5) configured to encode pose information of the destination image (2) and an illumination encoder (6) configured to separately encode illumination information of the destination image (2), and to produce two vectors: a pose vector (8) and an illumination vector (9). A neural network generator (10) is coupled to the identity encoder (4) and to the driver encoder (12), and has three inputs: the identity vector (7), the pose vector (8), and the illumination vector (9).

  • Publication number: 20230196599
Abstract: Systems, methods, and media for machine vision-guided robotic loading are provided. Such systems and methods can allow for more accurate object detection so as to allow for robotic picking or loading of an object from a pile or group of objects. In some embodiments, a camera is controlled to capture a background image of the object or group of objects. One or more illumination sources (such as, e.g., laser illuminators) are controlled to project immunization toward the object or group of objects within the field-of-view of the camera. The camera may be controlled to capture a scan image comprising the projected illumination. Based on the scan image, a depth map can be determined, which is provided to a machine learning model along with the background image. The output of the machine learning model can then provide information associated with one or more objects, such as location information, orientation information, and the like.

Abstract: A gas turbine engine comprises a nacelle and a fan rotor carrying a plurality of fan blades. The nacelle is formed with droop such that one portion extends axially further from the fan blades than does another portion. The nacelle has inner periphery that is substantially axially symmetric about a center axis of the rotor from either a throat of the nacelle at a substantially bottom dead center location, or a point of inflection at which the inner periphery of the nacelle at substantially bottom dead center merges a convex portion into a concave portion.

  • Publication number: 20160229336
Abstract: The invention discloses a system and method that enhances safety for vehicle before and during a U-Turn. Vehicles are equipped with retrofit U-Shape light indicator which is mounted near the left rear light of the vehicle. This light indicator is enabled wirelessly from a button mounted on the dash board by radio frequency or Bluetooth. When this U-shape indicator is turned on the driver indicates to all other drivers at the intersection that he is making a U-Turn. This in turn reduces irritation, confusion and frustration among drivers, and consequently reduces the possibility of accidents. Multiple U-Shape light indicators may be placed at different parts of the vehicle and it may be manufactured in various shapes and sizes as per the intended vehicle. Additionally, the auto-manufacturer may include the system into the car assembly and wire the button/switch to the left turn signal with a separate position for ‘U-turn’.
